Rush Creek Sanctuary's (BTKL Education & Animal Rescue Center’s) mission is to expand existing animal rescue & public service. Located in Decatur Texas.

The concept of rehabbing and rehoming to a forever home is important to us. Some animals will remain on site to work with our pet therapy programs for special needs children and adults disabled veterans, terminally ill patients and people expe

riencing emotional stress. Over the last 25 years we have come together with scouts to provide outdoor educational overnight camping facilities to include animal therapy. We provide refuge for animals, veterans, and individuals with special needs or circumstances. These places offer care, support, and a safe environment for those in need. We are reaching out to introduce our group, the services, and programs we will be offering, and to solicit your support. We are were able to meet a very special young lady today at the Sanctuary, Lilly.She is a amazing and courageous sweet 8 year old girl.She suffers from a diseases that causes some days of flare ups of pain and discomfort. Her wonderful aunt reached out to us and arranged a surprise for her to visit all our animals.It was wonderful to see her laughing ,smiling and interacting with our therapy donkeys.She will be working with me doing exercises with the donkeys drapping,meditation and brushing them .I'm so exited to be sharing our wonderful animals with others

Thank you David and Cathrine Frazey for taking theses 2 beautiful souls into your home and hearts .They were 2 days away from being slaughtered into meat .2 weeks ago they were scared and would not get close .All the abuse they suffered caused distrust. Now they love on you and have come alive again
Thank you for taking in so many rescues for us.Please go to our Rush Creek Sanctuary website and see our rescue ranch .We are trying to get suport for material donations to build shelter and fencing to take in more horses going to slaughter pens in Mexico. Blessings.
