This is Teddy, a sweet little Adams county animal shelter dog April Groomed today. Teddy is looking for a forever home. He was the best dog and stood very still for his haircut. Teddy just melts when you’re holding him. Somebody better adopt him before April puts her application in for him.

April donated this fellas glow up today, then when she said she would donate the groom. One of her clients pledged to pay the cost. I love our pet loving community! This guy is at the Adams county shelter. I didn’t want to let him go back. He was the happiest boy I’ve ever seen, he loved playing with all of the other dogs. If anyone needs a sweet boy, please go get him.

I would like to think this is true :

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

UPDATE!!!!!
THE LOT IS CLEANED OFF !! Be careful if you’re coming in for an appointment today.

I think it is best to close today Friday , at least until my guy can get here to clean the lot . It’s deep with snow drifts about 2 ft .
The main roads are ok, the intersections are bad from the piles of snow created by the snow plows . Until April and or Meghan can get in we will have to postpone any grooming appointments. ❄️⛄️🐩❤️

With this weather prediction for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, We are going to wait until Wednesday afternoon and see how the storm progresses to make a final decision about closing . If we close I will call you with a new appointment.

April was taken back in to surgery on December 16th. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery. We miss her around here .

In the 8 years April has groomed dogs she has never had to cancel or reschedule an appointment. April had to have emergency surgery on December 3rd. She is going to be ok but, she is off for the next 4 to 6 weeks . I am trying to call and rearrange some appointments. We do have Meghan here , however, she can not groom the amount of dogs we had booked . So for now, until I know when April is coming back , I can not take on any new appointments until I get them all rescheduled from Aprils absence. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We wish you all a very happy holiday season. Thank you for understanding.
