Hey there! We just wanted to let you know about some upcoming schedule changes for us:
-The Clinic will be closed August 17th, 2024.
-Closed for C.E. training on September 27th and 28th, 2024.
-A permanent change will be starting November 2nd, 2024 as we will be closed every first Saturday of the month with the next Saturday closed being December 7th, 2024.
-Closed on November 28th, 2024 for Thanksgiving.
-Closed on December 24th and 25th, 2024 for Christmas.
Closed on December 31st, 2024 and January 1st, 2025 for New Years.
- The first Saturday closure to start off the New Year will be January 4th, 2025 and then continue each month after.
-Please note; We will not be available for Emergency Services on these dates as well, a list of Emergency Clinics can be found on our website at www.decaturvet.com .

We know these dates are pretty far off, but we thought you'd appreciate the early notification so you can plan your visits with us. Thanks for understanding, and we're sure these changes will help us keep providing the best care for your pets.

We will not be accepting clients to our large animal (livestock) side this Friday July 19th AFTER 12:00pm. We will reopen on Saturday July 20th accepting walk-ins from 8:00AM until 9:00AM. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Good Morning! Just an update, we only have 1 doctor this week for small animal, large animal, and surgeries. As a result, you can expect a wait of around at least 4-5 hours minimum. We have also received an influx of new clients recently which is wonderful, but, it has caused an increase in wait time as well. Last Saturday there was a wait time of up to 6 hours for clients. Please keep this in mind as you plan your visits, as Saturday could very well be the same situation again. If we have early shut off times this week for taking visits, it will be posted on our page. So sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us!

This week is Vet Tech Appreciation Week and we are so thankful we have the very best of the best here! If you stop by this week, please make sure to tell the staff they are appreciated if you feel inclined to do so! The techs here work so hard every day and wear so many different hats; everything from a snuggle with them to keep your pets happy here to helping in surgeries everyday, they do it all! I know the staff truly loves your pets like they are their own, so help us Thank them for everything they do! WE LOVE OUR TECHNICIANS!

We will be open tomorrow Saturday October 7th for business at our regular hours 8am-10am and open on Monday October 9th for walk-ins from 8am-3pm.

Hope everyone is staying warm and cozy in this frigid weather. Our plan is to close at 3:00pm, last sign in is at 2:00 pm. However, if the weather gets worse we may have to close earlier. We advise that if you feel comfortable in coming in this weather to do so before noon if at all possible. We will keep everyone updated if we have to close early.

On Friday January 13th, we will be down to one doctor for the day. Dr. Harrison will be out of the office. Wait times maybe prolonged, especially in the large animal area.
