Olive's Puppies – 1 Week Old! 🐾

Our sweet little ones are already 1 week old! They’re still tiny, with their eyes closed and doing lots of growing and snuggling. It’s hard to believe how fast they’re developing, even at this early stage. Their world is still pretty quiet and cozy, but we can’t wait for the days ahead as they start to open their eyes and explore.

Check out these adorable little bundles of joy – we can already tell they’re going to be something special! 💕

Meet Jax – Proud Father to Bailey's Pups!

Jax is a black Labrador retriever with an outstanding pedigree, including titled relatives in AKC field trials. Known to some as the sire of a couple of Raven’s litters, Jax has an incredible drive to retrieve and a calm, polite demeanor at home. His intelligence and balanced nature make him an excellent worker in the field and a well-mannered companion indoors.

Update on Luna:
We wanted to share an important update with everyone. Unfortunately, Luna will not be having puppies this time. We learned that her sacks were empty. This is a first for us, and we are naturally disappointed, as we were all excited for the new puppies. However, we're incredibly thankful that Luna is otherwise healthy and doing well.
She's in great spirits and continues to be the loving, joyful dog we all know and adore. Thank you for your continued support, and we'll keep you posted on her journey!

Bailey’s Puppies Update!
Our sweet Bailey’s puppies are growing so fast—this past Friday they turned 2 weeks old, and they’ve already tripled in size! With 5 girls and 2 boys, these little ones are thriving thanks to Bailey’s abundant milk supply. It’s been amazing to watch them grow, and we’re reminded of just how much Bailey takes after her mom, Raven, who was also a fantastic mama. 🐾💕

The pups are starting to become more active, with their eyes beginning to open, and we can’t wait to watch their personalities start to shine! Stay tuned for more updates as these cuties continue to grow.

1. Use a Long Leash: Give your dog more freedom to explore while maintaining control. This is ideal for practicing recall without the risk of them running off.
2. Make Recall a Game: Turn the recall process into a fun chase by running away from your dog. This encourages them to follow you, making the return even more enjoyable.
3. Reward with High-Value Treats: Offer your dog their favorite treat when they come to you. This reinforces positive behavior and makes recall more enticing.
4. Keep It Positive: Always greet your dog with praise when they return. Avoid scolding them, even if they've been mischievous, as negative reactions can discourage future recalls.
5. Skip the Command If Unsure: If you're uncertain whether your dog will come, skip the "come" command and go to them instead. This helps prevent reinforcing unsuccessful recalls.
