Do you have a husky who's looking forward to the weather this weekend? I know many of our pets can't wait to get out in the snow and play. That being said, we are erring on the side of caution to ensure everyone's safety with the roads on Monday. Please watch for updates if we need to close the office, and be sure to call ahead to refill any medications before the weekend.

If you need emergency care during the holiday, we refer our clients to Springfield Animal Emergency. They're fully equipped to handle any urgent situations and provide the best care for your furry family members. The University of Illinois small animal emergency hospital is also available.
We’ll be back to care for your pets after the holiday, and we wish you and your pets a healthy and happy start to the new year!

December is National Cat Month, and here at Brush College, we have a special place in our hearts for our feline friends! As cat lovers, we want to make sure you’re aware of an important treatment option for cats with osteoarthritis: Solensia.

Have you noticed your cat pausing before jumping or moving slowly down the stairs? These could be signs that your cat is experiencing joint pain. If you’ve visited our office, you’ve likely met Pebbles, our sweet and sassy office manager. She’s a little cat with a big personality—but she also struggles with joint pain. Thankfully, Solensia helps her stay active and comfortable.
