We take pride in our breeding program, and we live with our dogs are our family. We have been breeding since, 2011.
We breed for harlequin puppies and typically have Harlequin, blacks, and merle puppies. We follow the Great Dane Club of America breeding and pairing guidelines for all breed pairings. What this means for us, is that we know our genetic lineage. We have a pairing once a year. We breed to harlequins that are the product of either Harlequin bred to Harlequin; Harlequin bred from a Black bred Harlequin. For more information on an approved breeding pair, please see, http://www.gdca.org/colorcode.html .
During the whelping process, our puppies stay with their mother for the first 7-8 weeks of the whelping. Our mothers receive a diet of tuna, probiotic yogurt, and Nutro Max. We find that the tuna fish helps with healthy coats, the probiotic yogurt helps with digestive and a calm stomach for the mother, and Nutro Max Large breed puppy during the whelping, with graduation after the whelping to Nutro Max Large breed around month seven or eight.
We will provide all new families a three-generational history of the puppy. All our puppies are Full AKC registerable, and we will give breeding rights for an additional fee on puppies that are good candidates to contribute to the genetic lineage of the breed. Our current sire is a black bred harlequin male. Our female is a harlequin bred female. Our fully-grown females are typically between 115-125 lbs. While our fully-grown males are typically around 140-155 lbs.
