The seconds before…
What are your last minute thoughts before entering the ring?

An early morning, chilly, last minute Sunday show!
Sale horses Cool Hand Luke and The Weekend claimed both tri-color ribbons in the 3’ Hunters, while Celeste Benson rode her own Made to Order to Reserve Champion in the 2’6 Hunters!☀️🏆🦄
The biggest congratulations of the day goes to Lilly Peck, who rode to top ribbons in the 3’ ring after being out of commission for 7 months with an ACL tear. We couldn’t be happier to have her back in the show ring with her own Yellowstone ⭐️💛🙌🏼

The Weekend, “Friday,” is an 8 year old, 16.2 hand Hanoverian gelding offered for sale.
Friday has been consistently and successfully showing at the 2’6 level with an adult amateur, and stepped into the 3’ professional ring with the same success.
Friday is incredibly sweet, brave to the jumps, straight forward, easy lead change, and the hack winner to boot. He would excel with a junior or amateur in the 2’-3’ as well as derbies.
Most recently, Friday was Champion in the 3’ at OSF out of 35+.

Even in streets of the Meatpacking District in NYC, Stan and the dirt team were able get the footing right! He’s used to hanging out with cowboys, but he wasn’t expecting Bella Hadid on her cutting horse!!🤠
🌈✨
🌟Congratulations to these two ladies who were champion in their divisions at Saratoga this week!!🌟
Hillary Rheinheimer founded Foggy Meadow Farm, located in Deep River, CT to provide quality riding lessons, training, boarding, and sales services in the CT River valley region. She remains committed to teaching her students and trains and shows Hunters & Jumpers from the local to "A" circuit.
Built in 2017, Foggy Meadow is a horseman’s dream. There are 14 spacious 12x14 stalls to give your horse the room he needs to relax. We believe in daily turnout, which can be in any one of the 6 grass fields or 2 smaller paddocks. A heated and air conditioned tackroom is comfortable throughout the year. Our 115x215 outdoor ring has state of the art footing with Kruse Cushion Ride and a full set of show jumps. The 80x180 indoor ring makes riding indoors a pleasure. With direct access to a state forest, your horse can enjoy a lovely walk in the woods for a change in scenery.
A third generation horsewoman, Hillary is armed with extensive showing and training experience in hunter, jumpers and hunt seat equitation. As a junior, under the guidance of her mother and Paul Valliere, she competed in the prestigious ASPCA Maclay, USET and USEF Medal finals placing in the top 15 five years in a row. She also won the CHJA Junior Medal and was Reserve Champion at the New England Equitation Finals.
Attending Hollins University, Hillary was the Cacchione rider all four years and was reserve champion at the national IHSA competition her senior year. She was also the winner of the International Intercollegiate Show Jumping competition. In 2011, Hillary was inducted into her alma mater, Hollins University’s, Athletic Hall of Fame.
Following graduation from Hollins, Hillary went to work for Susie Schoellkopf and Jennifer Alfano, of SBS Farms in Buffalo, Ny. After her marriage to Stan Rheinheimer, they moved to Virginia, where she ran a very successful training business before moving back to CT in 2010 to be Head Trainer and Director of the Riding Program at The Ethel Walker School.
Her dream was to have their own barn to welcome like-minded horsemen. Together, she and Stan built Foggy Meadow Farm to provide quality riding lessons, training and top notch horse care.
As a rider and trainer, Hillary believes the connection between horse and rider is key. If a partnership does not exist, then the ultimate goals cannot be reached. Mutual confidence between horse and rider is the cornerstone of all good horsemanship. This is achieved through developing a strong foundation, based on patience, knowledge and hard work.
