We had the most amazing time in Monroe, NC with ABS Kids!

The cotton candy was spun like mushroom magic 🍄, the popcorn was popped to perfection 🍿, and our animals soaked up so much love and napped all at the same time.

It’s in these small moments that we see the biggest kind of magic.

📖 Step into the storybook of our animals Saturday September 13th in Monroe, NC! 🐐🐇🐷

From 10am - 1pm at ABS Kids (1653 Campus Park Dr., Suite B), the gates of the Humphrey Honey Bunny Farm Traveling Petting Zoo will open, and the stories of our realm will come to life.

You won’t just meet animals, you’ll meet the crew, each with their own tale to tell:

🐷 Pigs: Snape, Dumbledore, Sirius, and Hagrid
🐇 Rabbits: Binx, Amethyst, Sage, Oddity, and Bunz
🐐 Goats: Celestia, Honeydew, Bambina, Fiorella, and Mika
🐑 Meadow the sheep
🐔 And of course…Angel the Invisible Chicken, always leaving behind her magical feathers for thoses to find.

And where there are animals, there are their guardians:
✨ Gate Keeper Mike
✨ Animal Keeper Steven
✨ And me, your Realm Keeper, bringing the magic to life (and yes, spinning mushroom-shaped cotton candy).

Together, we bring the storybook of our animals into the world, a place where kindness meets curiosity, where every connection is real, and where a little enchantment and laughter always lingers.

Honeydew taking her quiet moment with the human she loves the most Steven Humphrey.

No matter what event we’re at, our animals always come first. If they need to take a moment, we give them that moment. Each of our animals gives so much of themselves to the people they connect with, because we want them to interact with you for who you are, not because of food or tricks, but for genuine connection.

When they need a pause to breathe and feel safe, Steven is always there. He has a way of knowing exactly what each animal needs, and they trust him to the depths and back.

There are also some more spectacular food vendors here Balloon animals being made, bouncy houses to have fun in, oh and did I mention rides and it ALL FREE!!!

This is a completely free, family-friendly celebration, and a beautiful day to make memories with your favorite animals and your favorite car folks!

Just ONE more day until we land in Southport, NC for the NC 4th of July Festival!

The crew, two legged and four are resting up today so we can make all the memories with you tomorrow!

And this isn’t just any petting zoo…
🐔 Angel the Invisible Chicken might leave behind a feather, find one and you might get a prize.
💸 Humphrey Honey Bunny Money unlocks hidden magic, so when you receive yours read it carefully.
🎡 Drop in a pig token and spin the prize wheel
🍭 And yes, there will be mushroom shaped cotton candy!

We do everything in our power to keep our animals safe and comfortable during these events with shade, fans, soft hay under their hooves, and all the love in the world. These animals are more than animals to us they are our family and they really do enjoy sharing they're time with you.

Come find us in the Kid Zone. The magic begins tomorrow!

What a weekend! From the amazing crowds at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, to the peaceful day at Trask Family Farms, and the whirlwind of smiles at ABS Kids (where we were too busy spinning cotton candy and keeping the magic flowing to even snap many photos!). We are so grateful for everyone who came out to see us and share in the joy.

If you were at any of these events and took pictures of our animals, we would absolutely love to see them! Feel free to share them here or tag us so we can enjoy the memories right along with you.

Today isn’t just another day with the animals, it’s a little adventure full of surprises and small acts of magic.

Fans are blowing cool air through the petting zoo, so the animals can nap comfortably and greet everyone happily. There are hidden curiosities waiting to be found and brought to the GateKeeper for a little prize. Somewhere…Angel the invisible chicken might be leaving behind a feather (that becomes visible when it falls off and the magic fades).

Every breeze, every curious question, every bright-eyed smile as someone meets an animal for the first time, that’s the heart of what we do. We’re grateful for every moment of connection, kindness, and wonder that fills our day.

We’re getting the animals ready and gearing up for a magical day at Trask Family Farms in Castle Hayne, NC! Join us from 9 AM to 5 PM today for some pretty amazing animals, the Whimsy the wheel, and maybe even a sighting of Angel the Invisible Chicken (we’ve been looking for her for three years!). If you find one of her feathers, bring it to the GateKeeper for a special surprise. Plus, check out Oddity’s Curiosities, Oddity the rabbit sometimes shares her treasures. Find one and bring it to the GateKeeper for a treat! We can’t wait to see you!

Or just take a nap in the hay. The animals don't mind and neither do we.

🐑✨ The Meadow Dash is officially one for the storybooks.

Meadow the Sheep saw the most beautiful grass and made a break for it. Mike tried to stop her… and let’s just say his ninja skills were a little out of practice 🤣.

Steven missed the whole thing (he was at the food truck). I was mid-spin with the cotton candy. And Meadow? She was vibing in her salad bar.

We're just thankful it wasn't Dumbledore this time.

June 24th, our next adventure takes us too Trinity Methodist Church Jacksonville, NC to help open their Vacation Bible School with some joy and a few legendary hooves, snouts, and paws.

Tales of the Traveling Petting Zoo: Sunflower Edition 🌻

Yesterday at the Sunflower Festival Trask Family Farms was one for the books.
Yes, it rained. Yes, the truck got muddy.
But the hearts? They were full and memories were made 🩷!

All the families and people that came through the petting zoo were amazing, the kids were joyful, and the crew at Trask Family Farms went above and beyond to make sure everything felt like sunshine, even when the clouds rolled in.

Live music was being played, magic was being shared, and we watched laughter bloom right beside the sunflowers. 🌻✨

Thank you to everyone who came out and showed up with smiles, boots, flip-flops, and muddy toes!
