Our friends at Nashville K9 delivered an incredible TEDx talk. Their message—that dogs aren’t just pets, but partners with real needs—is exactly what we live by at Max Canine.
More experienced trainers need to speak out about what dogs truly require to be balanced and fulfilled. The dog world needs real voices, not trends.
Our philosophy of behavior, sport, health & fitness reflects the same vision.
This TEDx talk is a must-watch!!

Monday Drop 🎥 | Why We Use Place Boards
Place boards act as a classroom for your dog by giving them a specific physical location to associate with each behavior. That clarity makes it easier for dogs to understand expectations and perform consistently across different environments.

🐕We headed back to today to continue working with Hans, one of the amazing dogs in our rescue and shelter network.
We’ve been training with him for weeks, and today we introduced some agility to build obedience, confidence, and fulfillment — and he nailed it. 🐾
Hans is a smart, driven dog who’s available for adoption and so ready for his forever home. Go meet Hans!

🚨Same-sex aggression, or even general dog-on-dog tension, often comes from competition, dominance, or insecurity.

Sometimes it’s about leadership, sometimes it’s about management, and sometimes separation is your best friend.

You can’t always eliminate it, but with structure, obedience, and the right system, you can create calm coexistence and safety in your home.
