We have a big order of Dymax Soil arriving at the store later today along with some other stuff! If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s the same soil we use in all of our store tanks, with great results. Definitely an important tool in building a successful display tank and an easy way to up your planted tank game!

We did get shorted a couple of the fish we were hoping to receive, but that’s what happens sometimes. We did get in several male Peruvian Maroni Cichlids! They obviously don’t look like this right now, they’d need time to settle in and get comfortable in your tank to achieve this kind of color. These guys came in large and already showing streamers on their central fins!

Another great order is coming in tomorrow! A few new species and several hard to find fish and plants too! Some really cool plants finally showing up that we’ve been trying to get in for months.

Mascara Barbs are making an appearance! Smaller than Denison’s, just as colorful, hard to find, and active. These are awesome fish.

Nannacara anomala or Dwarf Golden Eye Cichlids are back! We have a few currently available in the store. These are an uncommon dwarf cichlid that’s considered peaceful and does well in community tanks. They’ll be shy at first, but once they settle in they have great personalities and great coloration! Definitely a favorite around the store.
