My name is Leslie and I am the founder, developer and head chef for J.B.'s All Natural Gourmet Horse Cookies. J.B.'s All Natural Gourmet Horse Cookies were developed by putting my chef skills and nutritional experience to work. I bake nutritious, all natural, gourmet horse treats with an added benefit. They are prepared with ONLY food grade ingredients, and each "flavor" has an intrinsic benefit;
i.e. "Pardon My Flax" are made with organic flax seed to aid with skin and hair coat. This is a little background information about me and thus my company. I have been involved with horses for over 40 years including riding, owning, breeding, training, and even transporting everything from backyard pony to World Champions. I have a certificate in Equine Management and studied equine nutrition. With that knowledge I developed specific nutritional feed programs for rescues equines with serious dietary needs, the competitive work horse, the at home family ride, minis, mares in foal and mares with a foal on their side. I have been involved in the food industry for over 20 years giving me more than ample experience with sanitation, baking, cooking, nutrition and developing recipes. I developed these recipes over the years using my own horses as test subjects. I have a lifelong passion for horses and over the past 15 years have come to understand the need for good nutrition and a proper diet.
