Want to make homemade Hypoallergenic treats?

With the kibble you already have as the main ingredient?

For this recipe we will be using, Prescription Diet® z/d® d/d or derm complete

Grind the kibbles into a flour type consistency using a blender. Mix with enough water to form dough. Shape into "cookies" or spoon onto a cookie sheet.

Bake at 350° Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or until crispy. Flip over cookie after 15 minutes to ensure complete cooking.

If you are using canned product, cut the product in ½ inch slices then into triangle shape. Bake on cookie sheet at 350° Fahrenheit for 30 minutes,
flipping over after 15 minutes to ensure complete cooking.

All homemade treats need to be stored in the refrigerator no longer than five to seven days to maintain their freshness and prevent spoilage.

As you know, it is very important for your pets to stay strictly on the prescribed food and this treat will allow them to feel special and spoiled. 🐾🐶😻

These homemade treats should not exceed 10% of vour pets' total daily intake, as baking the treats does alter the nutritional characteristics of the food.

Keep trash secure and away from pets to avoid ingesting bones, fat drippings, corn cobs or alcoholic drinks and many others!

Believe it or not, many foods that are good for humans can be dangerous and even toxic to your pets!

Some of these foods are,
Avocado
Bones
Chocolate
Coffee
Grapes and Raisins
Mushrooms
Onions
Garlic
Xylitol

If your dog or cat consumes any of these potentially dangerous foods, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Healthy pets stay hydrated

Hot, humid summer days could mean trouble for your pets if they become overheated. High temperatures and humidity levels increase your pet's risk of developing heatstroke, a potentially deadly condition

Ensure your pet is cool and hydrated by providing water and shade or by keeping them in a cool, air-conditioned room.

What Are the Symptoms of Heatstroke?

You may notice some of these symptoms if you're pet has heatstroke:

Drooling
Panting
Diarrhea
Vomiting
Red Gums
Dry Gums
Lack of Energy
Trouble Breathing
Falling Down or Stumbling
Seizures
Collapse

Call Your Veterinarian. Although your pet may perk up once its inside, it's important to call the veterinarian as soon as possible. He or she can tell you if your pet needs to be seen. If your pet is struggling to breathe, collapsing or experiencing seizures, vomiting or diarrhea, don't wait to call. Go to the veterinarian's office or the nearest emergency veterinary office if it's after normal hours.
