As many may be aware, Hard Licker Ranch has been subject to a months-long defamatory social media campaign, mailers, threats to our family and home (including death threats and bullying of our children) and other acts designed to prevent us from providing our community a badly needed service as well as living safely in our community and home.

Fortunately, the people determined to say anything to have us shut down have been court ordered to stop their defamation and slander, and the Ranch was awarded over $50,000 in damages for their wrongful acts.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this adversity, and we are excited to put our energy and focus back into the Ranch without distractions. We will never stop fighting for the wellbeing of animals that might otherwise be left behind.

Hi, I’m Lilith! 🐾

I haven’t always had it easy. When I first came into rescue, I was skinny and heartworm positive. But with love, care, and a little bit of time, I’ve grown strong and healthy — and now I’m ready to find my forever family!

I’m kind of a goofy girl, and my favorite thing in the whole world is PEOPLE. Big ones, little ones — it doesn’t matter. I just want to be near you, showing off my toys, or making you laugh as I play with my blankets. I have perfected the “belly up pup” display! Treat, people or toys? I pick people every time ♥️

I’ve been around some younger dogs and done okay, but I can get a little too excited sometimes. I’d probably do best as your one-and-only furry child (at least at first) so I can focus all my love and energy on my family.

Oh, and I’ve got some manners, too! I’m potty trained, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated — all ready to go home.

If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, blanket-tossing, people-loving companion, I just might be your girl. Could you be the family I’ve been waiting for? 💕

Chloe’s story is one of resilience, love, and second chances. Once a victim of abuse, her life changed when a kind stranger rescued her and brought her to safety. Just in time, too—Chloe was ready to give birth! She delivered 10 beautiful, healthy puppies under the loving care of her foster family. She proved herself to be a gentle, devoted mother and is now ready for her very own forever home.

• Kid-Approved: Chloe had a soft spot for children—she adored her foster’s grandson and lights up whenever kids are around.
• Doggy Nurturer: True to her maternal nature, she loves to “mother” and play with other dogs.
• House & Crate Trained: Chloe is wonderfully obedient, well-mannered in the house, and does great in her crate.
• Spa Day Ready: She’s a little champ when it comes to baths and nail trims.

We started with over two dozen puppies — now just Moe, Larry, Gretchen, and Chesney are left… and we can’t understand why!

💙💙 Moe & Larry – goofy, loving, and full of personality. These boys are the BEST companions you could ask for.

💖💙Gretchen & Chesney – the last two from Momma Chloe’s litter of 10. Sweet, playful, and so ready to love their forever humans.

❤️🩷And let’s not forget Momma Chloe herself — she’s raised her pups like a champ and now it’s HER turn to be spoiled.

We know it’s harder to find homes as pups grow up, but these five still have so much love to give. Please help us get them into the homes they deserve! 🏡✨

We Don’t Like Asking… But Miss Lilith Needs Us

Today, sweet Miss Lilith began her heartworm injections—a tough road ahead. 💔 Heartworm treatment is expensive, painful, and drawn out… but it’s her only shot at a healthy, happy life.

We know most people don’t realize how serious heartworm is—or how easy it is to prevent. Just one monthly pill can protect your pup from what Lilith is now bravely facing.
