This morning, on my walking mediation with the dogs, I stopped by our little river in the woods. The 3 pups were bounding about the forest. There, at the natural bridge, the sunlight was beaming through the fall leaves, creating this pool of warmth amongst the wild winds we were having. So I stopped there, closed my eyes, stretched upward, and just took some big deep cleansing breaths. When I opened my eyes, the tribe had gathered right by my feet. So I snapped this Pic. Guess we all can feel the good vibes of a good forest bathing.🐾🍁🍂💜

One of the most important skills you can learn when you're studying animal communication is energy management. 🙏✨️🧘‍♀️ Truly, without it, your connection will really suffer. So what is it? Energy Management is learning how to ground yourself. Basically, bring your internal energy from being high and even erratic to focused, calm, centered, and present. It's not only an essential part of animal communication, but it's also so very helpful in daily life. How many of us go through the day never taking a deep breath? I mean, this literally. We take short, shallow, sometimes rapid breaths from our upper chest. Most of the time, our inhale and exhale are both through our nose. But the truly DEEP breaths, the ones with the inhale through the nose and slow exhale from the mouth; are the most most relaxing and rejuvenating. Deep breathing is one of many energy management techniques. I call this specific one Belly Breaths. I use this term because with your deep inhale, you should be able to physically see/feel your abdomen distending and contracting with your slow exhale.
🧘‍♀️So, try this:
⭐️Make sure you are seated if you choose to close your eyes
⭐️Place one hand , flat on your belly
⭐️Inhale through your nose for a 3 count
⭐️Make sure you feel your abdomen filling up like a balloon
⭐️Hold your breath at the top for a 3 count
⭐️Slowly exhale through your mouth
⭐️Make sure you feel your abdomen shrinking, like letting air out of a balloon
⭐️Repeat as often as you need to help manage your energy throughout the day.

🐾🌈💜The day that Raven transitioned was also the day I was due to go pick up a foster dog at the shelter. The foster, a 4-month-old Great Dane, needed foster due to some medical issues from physical trauma. I had agreed to take her as a foster dog a few days prior. But that morning is when I found Raven had passed away. As you can imagine, in my heartbreak and shock, I immediately texted the shelter staff that I wasn't coming for the puppy. As the day went on and the sadness, loss, and heartache really took hold; I still couldn't shake the foster puppy (then named Luna) out of my mind. Maybe she'd be a good distraction? Maybe I'm meant to have her here to help process that loss? I just kept feeling this very real pull to foster this pup at what seems like the wrong time. My rational side was actively trying to talk myself out of it. Trusting in the universe I overrode my rational side and decided to go pick up the puppy. Then, the synchronicities started; like Luna's mother's name is RAVEN and she prefers Raven's spot on the couch... I couldn't ignore it any longer. Sid and Mia (my two dogs) welcomed Luna into the house like she had been there her whole life. We jokingly call them the Three Amigos now as it seems they are inseparable. The joy and puppy silliness Ink (formally Luna) has brought to the farm is just the right recipe for healing our hearts. So, with that said, I would like to formally introduce you to the new member of the Zook tribe, Ink! Ink (formally Luna) is already solidifying her spot in our family and has taken to farm life and all its chaos with ease, and a smile. She's the dog I didn't know we SO needed; but I now know I could never live without. 💜🐾💜

Ink will not only make an amazing family member in our tribe; but will also be a teacher in my upcoming in-person workshops here at the farm. Her gentle demeanor, kindness, and sociability make her a perfect fit to help others learn about animal communication and animal reiki. Stay tuned to watch how she evolves her roll as family member and healer! Welcome INK, we love you already! ❤️🐾😁

I'm so grateful to the amazing Veterinary staff . 💜🐾🌈Today, I received this beautiful floral gift from them over the sudden loss of my beloved Raven. Their kindness, compassion, and empathy is second to none, and they have provided all of my animals incredible care over the years. This is your reminder, if you haven't already, thank your veterinary team for their help in keeping your pets happy and healthy..
But also for their end-of-life care and beyond. My heart is filled with gratitude 🙏 🥹💜🐾🌈

" Thank you so much for your help with Cheeto a few weeks ago. We had a successful vet visit. During our session of body mapping, Cheeto had noted sensitivities or discomfort with his teeth and it turned out that he needed to have some teeth extracted and he was starting to get an abscess. He’s doing better and seems to be getting back to himself!
In the session, Cheeto used the words look inside and ultrasound so I asked the vet to perform an ultrasound and she said there was a variation or thickening of the small intestines and it could be the start of something but we are going to try a probiotic as well. They recommending monitoring it and rechecking in the future. They would need to get a sample from his intestines to rule out the start of lymphoma cancer. We also asked Cheeto about his cough during the body mapping and the vet thinks it is asthma at this time (nothing else) which is good and can be monitored and maintained with steroids which she said could also help the intestines. I just want to thank you again for all you do. You really have such a great ability to connect with the animals!" - Kimberly H. (Client)🐾💜🐈🐱

I can't believe I'm typing this right now....the night sky will be one BIG star brighter tonight🌟. My sweet Raven transitioned to spirit very abruptly and unexpectedly at home this morning.💔 I have no words to describe the devastation in my heart. 😭 Raven was (IS) the icon of our family. 💙💜 Everyone who met her fell in love immediately. Her quirks, special needs, and Kramer-like personality left everyone laughing, smiling, and full of love. There will never be another like her. Thank you Raven, for choosing to spend your earth-side time with us. ❤️ We are forever changed for the better because of it. I am forever grateful for you and to you, for always reminding me to live in the moment and enjoy every second. Rest easy my sweet girl🥰❤️, my Big Daughter, my Bigs, my Ravey Gravy. Mommy loves you with every little bit of her heart and soul. 💜🐾🌈💙💔
