Well back on the leash, it finally happened. Caught scent of a deer and off he went like WAY out in the woods. Got himself good an' lost. Found a neighbor who was hunting in a tree stand and he was able to help along with neighbor Jake to get him back to me. I was getting dark soon too...phew.
