 I am beyond blessed for this wonderful life that I have! Living on a farm can be very hard work that take’s dedication and commitment but boy is it rewarding!  I love watching the chickens sunbathe, and the ducks play in the water, I love watching our goats jump and play, running across the field. I love listening to our lambs, call out a warm hello, and watch the horses rolling in the dirt or running across the field to greet us.  I love going out to collect the nutritious eggs our birds have blessed us with, and watching the garden we have worked hard on to grow and provide for us! It may be hard work but I believe that’s what we were meant for; meant to dig in the dirt, help something grow, provide for ourselves and just enjoy and appreciate nature.

Here on the Douglass Family Farm we have wonderful additions this spring with our sow ready to farrow in a short few days, six new lambs, and some turkey poults on the way. God is good!

Loving the farm life!!! So peaceful and so rewarding! My plants I started from seed are all starting to bear fruit! We have some new additions coming to the farm soon and can’t wait to show you all!

Working on finishing up my inground garden that way I can really get the planting season going! I started everything from seed this year and it’s all turned out beautifully! Love the farm life.

Sounds like we have our first set of baby chicks born on the farm! Blake and I will investigate more and post pics but from the sounds we are super excited to see the next generation be born! Life is so beautiful and we are so blessed!

Made a delicious chocolate chess pie using our fresh duck eggs we collected this week from our sweet daisy. The kids were super excited about this dessert! Turned out beautifully! 😋
