‼️ PUPDATE FROM GUAVA ‼️ Miss Guava was adopted from FDHS about a month ago after being with us for 171 days. This is what her new Dad has to say: "Hi FDHS! Guava is doing absolutely fantastic. We're finally figuring out what toys she likes (apart from shoes) and she responds super well to treats. She's super smart and we've got her recall pretty well down and she's mostly figured out sit and stay. She LOVES being outside but is completely ready to lay entirely on someone's lap once inside. She and her sister, as well as the cats are all doing great." We are so happy for our spotted girl! We love getting pupdates from past FDHS alumni! Seeing them get their well-deserved happily ever after is the best part of our job. 🥰🏡🐾

Mr. Apollo enjoyed showing off his smarty pants skills with the vet assistant students from Four County! He has perfected "sit" and will do just about anything for a snack! Time outside the kennel is so important for shelter dogs, and Apollo loved every moment! We are always looking for dog-walking volunteers and people to spend some time with these pups. Today is "Walking the Dog Day" and we had the joy of walking our oldest and youngest pups. No matter their age, Violet, Sabrina, and Flounder just love being where the people are.
