We want to give out a huge thank you to the Defiance Area Foundation for their $500 donation for a bench. We are so excited to add more seating in the shade at the park!

Congratulations to Defiance Bark and Run Park for their recent grant of $500 to put towards new park benches. This grant was awarded from the Hanna Family Memorial Fund, during our last grants cycle ending in March 2024.

Thank you to everyone that stopped at our booth today at the Lilac Festival. We had a lot of fun and loved all the dogs we saw. We will be drawing the raffle tickets in a few hours!

We are so excited to be at the Lilac Festival again this year! We will be selling cute bags again and have more great raffles for you to enter to win! We are booth number E564 and will be across from Napa Auto Parts! Bring your pup by for treats and so we can pet that cutie!

We would like to remind everything that children 12 and are not allowed inside the dog park. If you see someone there with a young child, please say something or let us know! This rule has been set for a reason. If anything were to happen this could be a huge liability for the park!

We sure do love our members! We are in the process of decorating the tree at the park and have added some garland and these cute laminated pictures of some of the park members! It sure is looking festive!

The days might be getting gloomier with Winter approaching but they sure are looking brighter at the dog park with the new signs. A huge thank you goes out to Delbert Did It for the awesome work he did on these!

The City of Defiance recently purchased lilac bushes and lilac trees from Demuth Landscaping for the parks in Defiance. They were kind enough to donate some to the Dog Park as well. We really appreciate the support and help from them. We would also like to thank Demuth Landscaping for planting these and adding the mulch around the trees and under our sign! It looks wonderful!

The Defiance Bark & Run Dog Park recently purchased 3 trees from Demuth Landscaping to beautify and provide shade on the small dog side of the park. If you would like to help defray the cost of the plantings, there are two ways to contribute:

For a donation, of $400, a dedicated plaque with the name of any person or pet whom you would like to honor will be placed at the base of the tree.

For donations of $50-100, you may add a name of your choice to a “Pack Plaque” in honor of our many cherished companions.
