🐾 It is National Train Your Dog Month 🐾

Training is about more than commands. It is about communication, confidence, and trust. That is why our activities this month are inspired by training concepts that focus on the basics and foundational skills that support all other training and rehabilitation work. Through structured play and confidence building games, we are reinforcing skills that help dogs build focus, resilience, and success both at the center and at home.

Some dogs bark loud.
Some worry and pace.
Some need a bit more
of their own special space.

Some learned very early
to watch and beware.
The world can be noisy.
The world is not fair.

But here at the center,
if you look and you see,
there’s trying and learning
done quietly.

They pause. They choose calm.
They rest. They grow.
They practice their brave
very slow and just so.

If there is a list
that’s written somewhere,
we think it makes room
for trying and care.

The beds are all cozy.
The lights softly glow.
Merry Christmas to all
and to all the good dogs we know!

This holiday season, Wright Way Canine Center is proud to partner with Ride Oklahoma Charities as an official drop-off location for their Annual Christmas Toy Drive.

What they’re collecting:

• Coats
• Bicycles

Thank you, Dr. Thomas, for your unwavering partnership in our mission to improve and extend the lives of the animals in our care.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved veterinarian and practice co-owner, Dr. Anthony Thomas. Dr. Thomas was not only an exceptional veterinarian but also a cherished friend, mentor, and advocate for the pets and families he served.

Over the years, Dr. Thomas touched countless lives with his compassion, skill, and dedication. His legacy will live on through the animals he cared for, the clients he supported, and the team he helped build at Midwest Veterinary Hospital.

Our entire team is grieving this loss, and we appreciate your understanding and kindness during this difficult time. We are committed to continuing the level of care and compassion that Dr. Thomas exemplified every day.
