City of Del Rio Animal Services Our visiting hours are Monday and Wednesday, from 1:00 PM-4:30 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.

The City of Del Rio Animal Services department exists to prevent the spread of disease from animals to humans, enforce local and state laws and increase the number of animals that leave the Animal Control facility alive.

2024 Animal Services Wrap!🐾

This year, 165 animals were happily reunited with their owners, 206 animals found second chances through rescue organizations, and 151 animals were adopted into loving homes!

Ready to adopt a furry friend? 🏠

Here’s how you can bring a pet into your loving home:

1️⃣ Fill out the adoption application with us and provide a valid, current ID. (No adoption fees!)
2️⃣ Make an appointment with a local veterinarian for the Rabies vaccination.
3️⃣ Set an appointment to have the animal spayed or neutered.
