We are casually looking for a couple of well behaved horses (and owners) to board here at Backwoods Obstacles ! We only board 2 MAYBE 3 horses on the property simply because we enjoy having them. The horses are treated and cared for as family pets and we work from home. 3 stall pole barn that we prefer to keep open so the horses can come in or out whenever they chose. We only offer full board which includes rotational pasture, 2x a day feed, any provided supplimemts needed as well as alfalfa or O&A depending on your horses requirements. We have a great vet only a mile away who has helped us out well after hours in the case of any emergencies. Boarding also includes unlimited access to the obstacle course, 12X20 tack building and trailer storage for trailers under 15 ft. There are several trails located in the area with the nearest about 2 miles up the road. DM for more info and check out our page for more pics and videos. Located in DeLand FL.

Mini showing that they can do the obstacles just as good as the big boys. We are still on for this Saturdays open ride day. Gates open at 9 and ride till dusk. Florida weather can be unpredictable but your admission is always good for any other day or we will refund if the weather is bad.

First practice day for our 2022 Backwoods obstacle challenge will be Sunday, Jan 16th! Limited spots available so please message or call to reserve your spot for this practice day. Thank you to everyone who has pre-registered for this weekends obstacle ride days! We are keeping an eye on the weather for Saturday and the chance of rain is 50%. We have had a lot of rain this past week so while the overwhelming majority of the course is fine, there are some soggy spots. We are asking any participants who may want to reschedule to contact us. We can reschedule you for Saturday July 10th or any day during the week.

Backwoods Obstacles full weekend ride is coming up! Limited amount of riders for Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th. Must pre register to secure your spot. Registration includes lunch/ drinks and full access to the course from 9am till dusk. All ages welcome! We are happy to say that the far side of the property is now high and dry which allows more open riding area for those who want to utilize it. There are also a few water obstacles that offer a fun way to help keep you and your horses cool. Please DM with any questions or to secure your spot.
