Its that time of year again! Lets get ready for some agility! The Wednesday advanced class is already full but I have the following openings available:
Tuesdays 9-10 am ( novice level has done foundations) 2 spots available.
Tuesday Foundations Agility 10-11 am .Sessions #1 : 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8 & 10/15. 6 sessions that will feature equipment introduction, safety, beginning handling sequences. I have 4 remaining spots ( classes are full at 7 teams).

AKC Agility League starts soon and we will have several teams at all levels including the new Elementary level that does not have weaves or teeter!!!

3/4/2013 - 5/27/2024 USJCH, PAM Majestic's Behoshe Kee Von Haus Roberts, AKA BOO; RN,TT, AXP, AJP, EF, CGCA, TKI, RATCHX, SCN, UKC-Senior Dock Diving.

Mid week Boo had a Neurological event and rapidly deteriorated. Today I said goodbye to my best friend and best boy in the world. Boo and I did a lot of really fun things, we ran agility in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania and Illinois. When we were not competing we were playing on a beach , trail or river. But every night we snuggled, Boo always made sure I knew that I only had a small spot in the kingsize bed the rest was needed for him. I am beyond broken hearted .
I am so thankful for friends:, Jackie Pemberton Harris, Lisa Aleen Holmes, Haley Garrett and my Daughter Carrie Ayron McCord who were all there for me and Boo over the past few very hard days.

Congratulations to all the teams that participated in our AKC ACT trial on Saturday. There was so much positive handling and I saw teams improve every run! The trial ran very efficiently due to the efforts of some fantastic volunteers: Jackie Harris built all the courses and supervised the equipment being loaded into the shed for the summer . Her efforts got us out before the heat of the day hit!
Carrie MCCord worked as our trial secretary , awarded ribbons and got all the AKC paperwork ready all while taking care of a 1 month old❤️ baby human. Lisa and Ron Holmes worked any job that was needed , we appreciate them so much!Thank you to all of my students- you are just good people with good dogs and I could not be prouder than watching you " fix" an issue in a positive manner.

Closing is tomorrow for Central Florida Dog Sports-DeLand AKC ACT trial which will be held Next Saturday May 25th. We are offering std and jumpers, 2 rounds of each level . We have great ribbons for placement and titles and a secure fenced in field with excellent equipment.
The premium can be found on the Florida Agility site, the AKC act site and in CFDS webpage.
Come have fun with us and take your first steps toward competitive agility.

Saving our best for last! Congratulations to Lisa Holmes and Amos Albert who placed 1 st in Wirehaired Vizsla's in Reg. Freshman ! A huge thank you to Amos' other human, Ron Holmes , who helped time all the teams on competition days.

Our favorite Pembroke Corgi, Kip and his human Stephanie Hart had a great season placing 3 rd Nationally amongst Freshman Corgi's and a phenomenall 4th place among all 8p jumpers! Well done team Kip!

Congratulations to Ree and Cheri Tyre-Roberts . Ree captured 1 st place nationally for German Shepherds in the sophomore class and 8 th in the senior class. Ree was also the 3rd place 20p jump height and won the AKC's Clean Sweep award for the second season going clean in all 6 rounds.

Kudos to the triumphant trio - Jackie Harris, Tilley, and Ruffin! Tilley bagged the 2nd spot nationally in Reg. Freshman, while Ruffin scored 3rd place in Reg. Senior. To top it off, Ruffin swept the AKC Clean Sweep award with a spotless record across six rounds. Here's to the Harris pack's impressive feats!

AKC Winter Agility League has come to an end giving our 4 teams lots to be proud of ! I am going to post each team with their national results starting with our All American Annie Banane and her human Caitlin Brown. They finished 14 th in Reg. Freshman and 4th in Freshman 20"p. Well done!

The X-ray is a dog that got hit with a metal object hidden in the grass and thrown by a mower. When using a mower or other equipment please keep children , dogs and other things away- even a fence could not have prevented this accident. If this dog were hit anywhere other than the leg it would have killed her.
