We are expecting a few salmon bantam cochin chicks this weekend. All are born yellow, but as soon as they start feathering the girls stay light and the boys get dark.
These are a gentle and quiet breed with the cutest round "bunny tail".

While our Silkies are taking some time off laying, we set a limited hatch of some our our rare varieties.
These are porcelain Duccles. They are a sweet bantam breeds and an excellent companion for silkies. The porcelain is spotted in cream, Grey, and white...it's a diluted version of the more common millie flur.
