Marshall Unitied Methodist Church allowed us to put up our Dog Jog Banners under their sign on Main Street! Thank you!!!

How cool is this???!!! Marshall United Methodist Church allowed us to put up our really cool Dog Jog banners under their sign that is on Main Street!
They have been longtime supporters of WAAAG and we are truly grateful for them. Thank you to Loud Mouth Social Media for the cool graphics designs! This is going to be the best Dog Jog yet!

🍁Course Guides - Cheer participants on and help make sure no one gets lost. The Course Guide positions would be a great opportunity for local high school students that need volunteer hours. Course Guides will be in groups of 2-3. Last year, we had students from 3 different HS helping out with the courses!

🍁 Registration desks - Checking people in, handing out swag bags.

🍁 Parking guides - Help guide people where to park.

We are looking for help with our Dog Jog event coming up on Halloween. If you are interested in helping out, please email us at [email protected].

📸 Photographers - we will have a photo booth and we are also looking for someone to walk around and take pics

🚗 Parking guides
🛍 Registration desks - processing cards, checking people off, handing out swag bags
💧 Water stations
📣 Trail guides to cheer participants on and help make sure no one gets lost.

The Trail Guide & Water Station positions would be a good opportunity for local HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS that need volunteer hours.
Last year, we had students from 3 different HIGH SCHOOLS helping out with the courses!

We need your help. This is June. She is a 3-4 year-old, 8-pound chihuahua mix and she is just the sweetest little girl. June was a stray in Southern WV and she has a severe break in her back right leg. It will be a long road, but we are committed to helping sweet June by saving her leg. Her surgeries/vet care are estimated to be between $1,500 and $1,800. If you are able to donate towards June’s care, I’m sure she would appreciate it.
WAAAG is a Veteran Founded, all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue. We do not receive federal, state or local funding. We rely on donations from our great community and grants.

JUST 4 MORE DAYS TO THE WAAAG Dog Jog!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Barrel Oak Winery.
Drive towards the winery and simply follow signs to event parking.
Registration and the Start & Finish Line will be in the upper back parking lot.
We will have separate tents set up for people who have pre-registered and people registering that day. Both tents will open for processing at 9AM.
Water station will be at the Start/Finish line.
Restrooms are inside the winery, they will open their doors at 9!
Thanks everyone we are looking forward to a fun, amazing day! The weather is going to be PERFECT. ☀️👟🐶

* please wear masks at the registration tents, inside the winery when using restrooms & please practice social distancing when it's needed.
