As I have been approaching the end of my junior year, ottb treats has been put on quite the back burner. While I have put my Etsy account on vacation mode and my posts on instagram have been far and few, I have taken this time to go back to the roots of my business. If you have been here since the beginning you know that I originally started my business because I couldn’t find a treat my horse enjoyed. What started as a small side gig during lockdown quickly grew into much more and as much as I have enjoyed the buzz of small biz life I think that part of this journey is over, at least for now. With that being said I still love baking and photography and I don’t plan on stopping either anytime soon but I would like to go back to those small and humble beginnings. My Etsy will remain closed but if you would like to purchase horse treats I encourage you to send me a DM as I will still be open to orders that way for the foreseeable future!

sometimes in order to grow you have to go back to where you started
over the past few months, I have done a lot of reflecting on the past 3 years with my business and have had some hard conversations about where I see ottb treats going next. through ottb treats I have met hundreds of passionate & talented equestrians, photographers, and friends while discovering my love for baking and photography simultaneously. while recently business has been slow and my posts have been few, I hope to be able to continue to share both of my passions on here with more regularity in the next year. here's to doing what you love no matter what life throws at you! - Penelope & The OTTB Treats Fam
