Goose is doing so well in his new home! He is the friendliest cat I’ve ever met. He has gone up to everyone in the house immediately for attention! He’s been eating since the first night he was here, and constantly using the litter box. Everyone that has met him has fallen in love with him!

Lakeland Animal Shelter Amazing Adoption Update

I adopted Babys (now Louis) in January of 2017. I’ve sent an update on him many years ago, but he’s truly my best friend. From college, to moving out of my parents, living all alone during the pandemic, getting married, and moving to 3 different cities— Louis has been my rock through it all. He is the sweetest, cuddliest, friendliest cat and ironically; he loved my husband even more than me once he moved in with us and those two melt my heart daily.

Then, a little over a year ago, my husband and I decided we were ready for another; and I was beyond excited to return to Lakeland to find the perfect addition to our family. Enter Oaklan (now Loaf) and he is the wildest, most curious, and secretly cuddly guy. He integrated into all our lives and we can’t imagine it without him now. Our little yin and yang are the best brothers, playmates, and fur babies. Thank you, Lakeland!

Lakeland Animal Shelter Amazing Adoption Update

Rosie is adjusting very well to life at home with me. She is playing a lot while potty training and eating are both going well. She still doesn't really want to be petted, but she's always close to me. Thanks for all the care you gave her before I was able to take over!

Whoa! Thank you all for your interest in mom and baby. We are so thrilled to see so many that would like to add them to their home. We are currently processing applications. They do take 24-48 hours. PLEASE give us time to call you back to set up an appointment to meet them.

Happy with Oliver!

Oliver came to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him.

Oliver is a spunky young man. Playing with toys and running like crazy is his favorite thing to do.

Oliver would do great with an active person that could spend time with him. He can be good with dogs but a lot for them. So a dog that can handle his energy would be best. Kids are great as well, if they can keep up with him😂
