Nori (GCH Seaworthy Maritimo's Notorious By Seabrook) and Magic (GCHS Bayswater's Magic Man) welcomed their Looney Tunes litter on May 15, 2024. Nori easily whelped 9 healthy puppies. She had 5 boys and 4 girls, 3 brown and 6 black and most have a white chest.Thank you to my sister, Kristen Willett, for always being there to help me whelp puppies.
A big congrats to proud Papa Magic for his Award Of Merit at Westminster on May 14, 2024. We are so proud of him!

We are so excited to announce the Looney Tunes Litter! Due May, 14, 2024. GCHS Bayswater’s Magic Man X GCH Seaworthy Maritimo’s Notorious By Seabrook. Both parents clear on all PWDCA recommended health tests and listed in the HLD. A special thank you to Carol Fink for her announcement design!

This is super easy and so fun!! Worst case is I’m making a dog happy by sending them a toy - what can be better than that?
I’m looking for dog owners interested in a holiday gift exchange. Doesn’t matter where you live in the U.S. - you are welcome to join! You have to buy one gift valued at least $10 and send it to your secret dog. (Hello Amazon!). Your dog will receive 6-36 gifts in return. And the great thing is you can keep them or donate them! A present will brighten their day (and the owners too). We could all use some happy mail.

Seems like just yesterday that this beautiful boy was just the cute aqua puppy in my 2020 litter. Little did I know he would become a Westminster winner.

Wow! This boy never ceases to amaze us! Dagr( CH GCHB Maritimo's Radiant Light Of The Day CGC TKN ) went Best Of Breed at Westminster on May 9, 2023! Dagr finished his championship at just 7 months of age. He went on to achieve his Bronze Grand Championship in style by earning multiple Best Of Breeds with group placements. He did all this with limited showing and sometimes owner handled by Cole Turnof. We are so proud of Dagr and honored to have him represent Maritimo Portuguese Water Dogs. Dagr is out of the Marlin ( CH Infiniti's Fish N Chips From Lake Effect) X Scarlett ( GCH Maritimo's Goin' With The Wind) litter.This win is a dream come true for us and his owners. A special thank you to Jordan Waters for handling Dagr at Westminster. Congratulations to owner Aaron Turnof and family on this wonderful win.

Hello and welcome to Maritimo Portuguese Water Dogs! We are glad you’re here!

We have been a preservation breeder of Portuguese Water Dogs for 20 years. Our purpose for breeding is to improve this wonderful breed and to enhance the Maritimo bloodline. We value quality over quantity and therefore only breed one litter per year.

Each litter is carefully planned with the breed standard, health, and temperament in mind. The sire and dam have had all the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America’s recommended health tests completed before breeding. Each parent’s pedigree is researched for health issues that cannot be identified with genetic testing. Our dams and the sires we choose come from AKC championship bloodlines, and are AKC champions themselves with additional performance titles.

Our puppies are raised in our home with lots of stimulation and socialization. Each puppy is thoroughly examined by our vet, given their first round of shots, wormed, and microchipped before going to their forever home.They are accompanied with a bag of goodies that includes comfort toys that smell like home, copies of parent’s health certificates, and a collar and leash.
