Update 09/07 : Adoption fee reduced to $75 per kitten or $125 if they're adopted together.

If you've been to DPS in the last month or so, you've met Bernard and Bessie! They have been vetted and are now available for adoption!

Bessie (female tabby) and Bernard (black male) were both found as strays at around 6 weeks old. They are now about 4 months old, have been spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

They are used to dogs, other cats, and kids. While they don't have to be adopted together, I'm sure they wouldn't mind it!

Adoption fee is $90 a piece or $160 if they go together. If you're interested in adopting, please message us on facebook or call us at 740-368-1999

We are offering a puppy class at a reduced price of $99 starting on March 21st!
This will be a four week class. Your puppy will have fun bonding with you learning skills such as the Name Game, Sit, Touch and Watch Me.
You will be given lots of information to begin your puppy journey off right. Topics will include nutrition, house and crate training, common puppy issues such as jumping and biting, grooming and socialization concepts. This class is a great way to start you and your puppy with training and learning.
The class will start at 6pm on March 21st at our training facility located at 1088 Horseshoe Rd. Advance registration is required.
This class is the prefect start to entering our Basic Manners Levels Training program.

The scariest thing this spooky season is that Mr. T is still looking for his forever home!
This sweet guy would love to go home, be your shadow, and get lots of loves and pets.

Is orange not your style? In addition to sweet Johnny Knoxville, we have Mr.Troublepuff up for adoption! He prefers to go by Mr. T. We found Mr. T on the side of the road a few weeks ago and he has been nothing but a gentleman since. He is neutered (bye bye troublepuffs), FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He is ready for a place to call his own!

This cuddly, playful, talkative guy is looking for his forever home! Johnny Knoxville was found as a stray and has shown us tons of stunts and schemes since he's been with us! He loves to run and jump and play, even though he's not very coordinated! We think Johnny is around 4-5 months old, neutered, is FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and fully vaccinated! Congratulations to all of our training dogs (and their parents) who have worked their tails off the last few months! We have had lots of AKC Canine Good Citizen and S.T.A.R. Puppy graduates as well as some Big Feelings dogs reaching huge milestones! We are so proud of their accomplishments and many of them are continuing their learning to earn more titles and reach higher goals!

This little piggy is looking for a home! We're not sure how old Bella is, but our best guess is that she is 6-8 years old. She doesn't care if you're a couch potato or on the go, as long as she gets to hang out with you! She coexisted fantastically with cats in her former home and enjoys the company of other dogs. She also loves kids! Bella is a major foodie but she was incredibly overweight when she was first rescued. Her former home worked very hard to get her down to a healthy weight so her new family needs to be willing to help her maintain her current weight or even lose another pound or two. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is also vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.

The adoption fee for Bella is $125

Inez and Betty Boots are officially up for adoption! These two girls are around 4 months old, have been fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. They're incredibly sweet, talkative, enjoy playing, and spending time with other animals. They'd love to get out of their condo in our lobby and into a home where they can romp around and play! Their adoption fee is $85 per kitten. They don't necessarily have to be adopted out together but they would both enjoy having another cat to play with in their new home! Your puppy will have fun bonding with you learning skills such as the Name Game, Sit, Touch and Watch Me. You as the parent will be given tons of information to start your puppy journey off right. Topics will include nutrition, house and crate training, grooming, handling and socialization concepts. This class is a great way to start you and your puppy with training and learning.
The class will begin on February 21th at 6pm and run through March 19th.
For this limited offering only, we will credit the ENTIRE purchase price of this class toward the purchase of a three month Levels Training membership, reducing the program cost to $226 for 90 days of Levels Mastery training! Upon completion of Level II your puppy can be certified as an AKC STAR puppy and will learn skills to carry them through their lifetime. Level II is attainable within the 90 day time frame.
Unlike most puppy classes, our Levels training program means your puppy will not just be introduced to topics but can achieve Mastery in the skills we teach. Traditional class formats introduce new topics weekly and leave it up to you to practice at home without further classroom guidance to refine your pup’s skills. Though we always emphasize the importance of working with your dog daily, Levels offers several slots a week to choose from, come as often as you like for the same price. Training is most effective when it is repetitive and with corrective guidance along the way.

UPDATE: APPLICATIONS CLOSED
This Abominable Snowman is looking for a new home! Yeti is a 7 month old Samoyed puppy brought to us by a client (and good samaritan!) when his former owner threatened to dump him by the side of the road. Yeti is up to date on all of his vaccinations, was recently neutered, and microchipped! He loooves being petted, plays great with other dogs and is just the sweetest boy. He is overall well behaved but could use some help with his basic obedience skills. Samoyeds have a very dense coat that requires regular grooming to maintain and prevent matting, so his new family must be willing to thoroughly groom him at home and/or keep up with regular grooming appointments.

We are looking for a home, preferably with spitz breed experience, that can give him all the love and attention he deserves!
