Lead the Way K9 Training is based out of Delaware, Ohio and we help create balanced relationships between humans and dogs through leadership, obedience, behavior modification and socialization. The Key to creating a successful dog-human relationship is that the training you learn continue to be applied, even after our sessions are over.

Our Board & Train dogs make friends with one another out in the Structured Socials during playtime. We like to challenge them in a group Duration Place Session where they practice impulse control while staying in a calm state of mind. This is an awesome session as they love to run and play with one another. 🐶😃☀️🐾

Since we started our Training program we have wanted to give back to our wonderful community. We are excited to share that we have completed our first Board and Train Program with the Humane Society of Delaware County.

Our goal is to keep dogs in their adopted homes through balanced obedience Training. This handsome dude, Ernie is our first graduate of our quarterly Board & Train Program. We donated our time, training expertise and training tools. We also went over everything in full detail with Ernie mans owners.

Ernie was apart of the overnight foster HSDC Thanksgiving efforts and found his forever home. After completing our Training, Ernie now has leash manners, an off switch for his impulse control, tone recall, great social manners and overall will be a more enjoyable pup for his AWESOME owners.

In these Training Programs your dog will learn leash manners, how to walk politely on leash, “Heel”, “Down”, “Place”, “Sit”, Auto Sit, Tone recall, Duration and Distraction work, positive socialization while building up your dogs confidence with other dogs and more.
