At Healthy Pets, we’re here to help you keep your furry friends cool, comfortable, and hydrated all summer long! 🐶🐱🌴

Just like us, pets can quickly become dehydrated—especially in hot weather. Whether they’re lounging in the sun or tagging along on your summer adventures, it’s essential to make sure they’re drinking plenty of fresh water.

✅ 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱:
• Always provide access to clean, cool water
• Add ice cubes to their bowl for a refreshing treat
• Pack a travel water bottle for walks or outings
• Feed wet food to boost moisture intake
• Offer pet-safe frozen treats on hot days

⚠️ 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝘀:
• Dry nose or gums
• Lethargy or weakness
• Sunken eyes
• Loss of skin elasticity (pinch test)
• Panting or increased heart rate

🚨 If you notice any of these signs, contact us right away. Dehydration can be serious—but with a little awareness and care, it’s completely preventable!

Founded by pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige, National Kitten Day is a reminder of how important it is to adopt, not shop. Every year, countless kittens end up in shelters or on the streets. Today, we honor them by encouraging love, adoption, and care. 🏡✨
