Our professionals work very hard year-round to continuously provide the highest level of veterinary medical care possible. This is a day to honor them and provide them with a much needed physical and mental break. Happy 17th Birthday to our buddy, Baxter! Many of you know Bax very well as he use to be around our hospital all the time through the beginning/early days/years of TAHO - and could even be found sunbathing outside in the yard through the days. 😂 Bax use to attend all TAHO events as well and acted as director of public relations. 🐽

Tonight our team had to say our goodbyes to one of our very special friends/family members, Tangerine.

Tangy has been a part of our family since January 2023. Due to some permanent medical/GI issues it was difficult to find him a home where he could be comfortable and cared for properly. For a long time Tangy lived in our hospital in our admin/doctor offices and loved bonding and spending time with his TAHO family. Thankfully, our own TeamTAHO member, Stefan, later fostered/took him into his home and allowed him to live a happy and comfortable life outside of the hospital setting. Tangy has touched all of our lives in a very special way. We will always cherish the many memories we made together.

Despite our best efforts and the love we poured into him, Tangy had developed a type of aggressive cancer that resulted in his rapid deterioration. So tonight TeamTAHO, his family, had to help him cross the rainbow bridge peacefully.

Thank you to everyone who supported his journey with us, and/or supports TAHO which allows us to do what we do. Please be patient and empathetic with our team tomorrow (Friday) as many of us will be mourning our loss and will greatly feel his absence in our hospital.

Rest in peace, sweet Tangy. You will be forever missed. We love you so much.

Help us officially welcome and recognize our amazing Lyz Cox!

Lyz joined our team last October as a Client Service Representative and has had a huge impact on our organization, team, and clients! 💙

Lyz started her professional/educational journey in Clinical Psychology and Criminal Justice. Through her life experiences she realized that veterinary medicine was her calling so she made the switch and is continuing her journey in the Veterinary Technology program to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). 👩‍⚕️

She chose to join TeamTAHO due to our family-like environment and relationships, the positivity of the team, and the community-focused mission. She plans to continue her education and become more involved in the medical side of the practice. 🏥

Outside of vet med, Lyz enjoys going on walks and hiking with her pup! She also enjoys golf, traveling, and attending music festivals! ⛳️ 🧳 🎶

Lyz shares her love with her boyfriend, Justin, their GSD/husky mix (Blaze), and their two amazing cats (Ripley and Bowser). 🐕 🐈‍⬛ 🐈

This is exactly why we do what we do and the entire reason TAHO exists.
Frosty was found as a stray and was struggling out in this weather. A very Good Samaritan reached out in a local Facebook group to seek help for this boy.
Thank you to everyone who worked together to get this boy inside, get him transported to TAHO, and who have stepped up to take care of him through his recovery. It takes a village!
TeamTAHO is happy to be a part of such a caring community and thankful that we were able to help save this boy and provide him with the medical care he desperately needed/needs. 💙

2023 has been an exciting year for us here at TAHO. Although we have had some challenges we are very excited, and proud, to announcede/share our year end reports.

We measure our success by the impact we are able to have in the lives of animals and their families right here in our local communities.

This year in summary, TAHO has:
- Provided medical/surgical care to 10,541 patients.
- Performed 7,791 spay and neuter procedures.
- Performed 632 advanced dental procedures.
- Helped save local animal rescue organizations $120,782 (in addition to special set partnership pricing/discounts) which allows them to better utilize their funds to help/save more animals in need.
- Provided $120,803 in additional charitable contributions to help cover medical/surgical care for animals in need.
- Voted as a leading veterinary hospital/team in Central Ohio for the fifth year in a row.
- Continue to maintain our title/reputation as a national leader for our spay and neuter program.
