Theodore is a Amish puppy mill dog. He was keep in isolation for about a year before this good lady rescued him. He has never walked on leash ever. Yesterday...I was able to get him out of the car and get him to walk with us to the training center and back into the car. Owner was surprised.
He is blind in one eye and can barely see out of the other eye. He has lime disease. He has great fear of everything. He is also an angel from heaven. ❤️
Fearful dogs always steal my heart.

I achieved my Masters in dog training 20 years ago. The first week I remember Bob Jarvis, my instructor/mentor told the class how dogs have such an incredible sense of hearing, that in your bedroom, kitchen and basically all through your house how loud the appliances sound to dogs. Something to think about. 🐕

Whenever I'm about to do a lesson with a dog, I always have a plan.
But most times, I end up changing that plan because of what the dog is offering. I let the dog tell me how to train the dog.
