WCOTC has offered reasonably priced dog obedience classes to the public since it was formed in 1983.

The Westmoreland County Obedience Training Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching owners to train their dogs for pleasure and/or for competition. During that time, the Club has expanded to include instruction and events in the areas of Obedience, Agility, Conformation, Rally and more. The club also holds AKC licensed Obedience and Agility trials. WCOTC is also very active in our c

ommunities, giving demonstrations, performing pet therapy work, and holding an annual open house for public education.

Great day at the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals health clinic we co-sponsor with the Greater Pittsburgh Dalmatian Club

Thank you to all the clinicians who come out and the volunteers who make this event possible.

Health clinics are essential to help responsible breeders continue doing what the do to insure healthy, long lived puppies.

This weekend we were privileged to have Connie Cleveland-Nolan present a seminar at WCOTC! Connie was an engaging speaker, great at reading dogs, kind to exhibitors and generous with her training knowledge! I think we all learned something we can take home and add to our training bag!
Thank you to all of the club members who helped out this weekend and Connie for coming to PA and sharing her time with us!

For anyone who had thyroids drawn at the WCOTC/GPDC health clinic, Michigan sent results to OFA on April 27, it can take 4-6 weeks for OFA to post them.
