Saturday at the Kokomo Kennel Club dog show Fancy (Benchmark’s Fancy Pants) went BOW for her 3rd point. Thank you judge Ms. JoAnne Buehler. Isn’t this girl too cute?!

Sunday her brother Rio (Benchmark’s Big River) went BOW for another point, giving him a total of 11 points including both his majors. Thank you judge Carolyn A Herbel.

I didn’t get a picture of Rio, but how about a stack of passing CAER eye exams instead! I took 5 of my Cockers, and mom took 2 of hers, for a total of 7 clear eye exams!!! We’ll call that a great day!

We went to a UKC show in Portland, IN on Saturday & Sunday. I’m proud to say that on Saturday Rio won a Group 4th in a competitive Gun Dog group of 8 breeds. Not to be outdone by her brother…yesterday Fancy pulled off a Group 2nd in a very competitive Gun Dog group of 11 breeds!

Thank you to judges Sharon Griffin and Joseph Gubry for recognizing our Cockers, and the Central Indiana Coonhound Conformation Club for putting on a lovely and welcoming event!

We traveled to Dayton, OH for a dog show this weekend. Fancy went BOW for another point on Saturday, and Rio went BOW for another point today. Both pups now have 2 points, in two weekends of showing. We’re off to a good start! 🐾
