“Well, this is kinda boring…
I think I’ll put a Roomba on my Christmas wish list.”
Orphan “Baby Kitten” often provides free entertainment for her caregivers, Jill Smith and Nancy Emerick. 😹😹
Happy Valentine's Day!!
"Remmy" wants to wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day!! Makhayla Martin brought her 10 week old Border Collie mix in to see us for his First Puppy Exam and vaccination.💕💕💕
It's WIGGLE time!!
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle....wiggle, wiggle, wiggle!! "Coco" just couldn't keep that tail under control the ENTIRE time she visited us for her annual exam and vaccinations. Her joy was definitely contagious as we couldn't contain our laughter at her non-stop wiggle butt!! Steve and Kerry Kniola are the lucky pet parents to this happy-go-lucky 9 year old Bassett Hound. 🐕❤
Wait for it...
Wait for it...High Five!!!
“Duke" and Vet Tech Ashley were having fun while waiting for Dr. Chelsea to come in and administer Duke's 6-month ProHeart Injection to protect him from heartworms. Marvin and Sharon Coil sure have one smart 8 year old Golden Retriever!
Quarantined "bird watching."
How are you keeping your pets entertained at home?

🐈IT’S NATIONAL CAT DAY!!🐈
This day was founded to bring awareness to the number of homeless cats. It is also a day for cat lovers to celebrate the cats in their lives that share their love and companionship.
As you can see, 6 month old “Allie McClawsin Lady of the Pounce” is the ruler of the roost AND the veterinary office!! No treats were spared when this feline was done. We were wondering... does this fastidious feline “help” Nathan and Rachel Hadding at home with the dishes, too?!?😂 #nationalcatday
IT’S NATIONAL DOG DAY and what better way to showcase the abilities and capabilities of dogs than with a video of Daniel Meyer’s 7 year old GSD, “Niki!” To be a Therapy Dog, Niki had to have the self-control to only eat on command. As you can see, Dan has done an awesome job of training this very smart girl!! Dan and Niki perform this “trick” during their nursing home visits. What a treat for all to see!!
HEARTGARD CHEW -VS- BOXER...who will win in the end?? Will "Bo" catch the chew or not...and he doesn't, but we blame it on a bad throw! It's still a win/win for Bo, though, because he gets the tasty treat AND he is now protected for another month against Heartworms!! Way to go, BO!! Thanks to our Vet Tech, Allie, for sharing this awesome video.
This kitty is Sunset, a neutered male, that came in on emergency, along with his housemate Princess. The owner of Sunset and Princess applied an over-the-counter flea medication called Freedom TopSpot, but applied the dog product instead of the cat product. The dog product contains Permethrin which is toxic to cats. Permethrin affects the nervous system of the cats resulting in twitching, seizures, and potentially death. Sunset and Princess were hospitalized, bathed to remove any remaining product and given multiple injections of valium and muscle relaxants to stop their shaking. By the end of the day, Princess was back to normal and Sunset only had mild twitching, but were well enough to go home. The owners were grateful for our help and learned a large lesson on not using over-the-counter flea medications. Next time, they will be purchasing a cat approved flea product from us.
