I am beyond proud of being one of the 5 % Hispanic Veterinarians in the US. Born and raised in Venezuela I arrived to the US in 2002 with $200 on my name, a working visa and a sea of dreams and opportunities. I never imagined that I was going to be able to accomplish so much In my career. I have hired, coached, mentored, built multi unit markets. Helped developed business verticals for the pet care industry. I have met so many wonderful people. I was told I couldn’t do it and yet I did it. I finally completed my dream of owning one of the most progressive, modern and innovative veterinary practices in the country. To all my Hispanic veterinary friends out there. We have an amazing thing going and we are 5% strong but one day we will become a majority in the profession. Dream big folks. Dream big.

The power of proper wound treatment and management. This pup had a surgical wound on his leg after a large tumor was removed and not enough skin to close. After just 5 weeks of proper wound care these are the results. No cold laser therapy needed. No skin graft. The hair will grow back in a few months and he may not even have a scar.
