Absolutely ecstatic that for the 2nd year now I have been able to produce Albino Cherryheads! This one was incubated at 85/86 degrees for a higher chance at being a female

The Uro’s are slowly starting to become more active again! Here’s a female Red Geyri soaking in that heat. We will start to do a few pairing soon and see what 2023 has in store for us!

Retic time! Always love taking the big girls out for a good stroll! Truly very difficult to capture this girls size at over 16’! This girl is an Ultra Ivory and is the most docile giant and is truly a pleasure to work with this species! Blue the Emu in the safe distance checking out what’s going on

Loving how this one is finally started to color up! Here’s presumably a female Uromastyx dispar flavifasciata. There are White, Yellow and Orange forms and this one is the Orange!

This guy was out basking this morning and man isn’t he just amazing?? I love all uromastyx species but the Thomasi definitely are ranked towards the top as far as looks and personality!

Pure perfection! Can’t drive by the Radiated enclosure without stopping for a quick moment of admiration🤩 There’s been a good amount of breeding behavior with the adults this season so hoping we will be seeing eggs sooner then later!

I’m not sure who’s more cold today, Him or me? 😅 are experts at thermoregulating themselves. The bigger the tortoise the more extremes they can handle but they are also the ones who need to be the most careful. Having a larger body takes longer to warm BUT it also takes longer to cool down so in cases of overextended time in the blistering sun they are most susceptible to heatstroke

Sometimes it still doesn’t feel real! In case some of you didn’t know, we successfully hatched out a USA hatched Albino Cherry head Redfoot! Absolutely floored and honored to be able to hatch these out and I hope one day they can be more readily available so everyone can appreciate and enjoy them!

haven over here! We are so excited to be able to produce these Egyptian uromastyx! We had 2 clutches laid this year and they both decided to hatch the same weekend! First clutch had 14 hatchlings then this second clutch we have 28! These guys are thriving and eating machines and will be ready to find new homes in the upcoming weeks

Just love this time of the year! Just about every day there’s something new hatching in the incubators! Todays hatch are some Hypo Redfoot tortoises. These were incubated at 83 degrees so hopefully these are males🤞

Couldn’t be more eggcited! One of my female Egyptians laid a great clutch of eggs! Wasn’t expecting her to be laying when I opened the lid so this was mid laying in which a let her finish her business before I collected the clutch.

Started with 11 eggs and hatched out 10 healthy babies! These guys will be spilt up into smaller groups as these cute little things can be quite aggressive towards one another #

Exiting morning over here! witnessed Hercules, our 19 year old Galapagos tortoise male mounting and attempting copulation for the very first today! Its thought male Galapagos don’t reach sexual maturity until their late 20’s possibly early 30’s due to them having to be so much larger then the females to even successfully mount let alone. Post Halloween on the farm! Filled up the sprinter van with Pumpkins and the Galapagos were the first to get a buffet!
