Watch out for these. They spawn in irrigation/rain puddles. They come out when it's dark, are drawn to lights near your home as they try to catch bugs to eat. They'll hide, though. Their white poison oozes out of their external parotid glands. If it contacts human skin, it's toxic, too. It's deadly to pups & kitties. If you see one, get it removed by an expert. They are brazen - one like this once jumped onto my sneaker as I walked my pups. I tried to kick it off & send it flying, but it came back and was attached to my door.
