Been really bad at posting lately but I thought this cutthroat turned out kinda nice.

My other competition piece was this 16” smallmouth bass that was a personal fish. The first replica I ever did was a smallmouth this size so I had been wanting to do one again now that I’m a bit better with an airbrush.

With competitions over I can post my personal pieces I did this year. These are two of my most memorable fish I’ve caught and it was fun to put everything I’ve learned into the replicas. Received excellent feedback and was fortunate to score some blue ribbons. Looking forward to next year.

Giant Splake caught in Utah. Hybrid between a brook and lake trout. Centerpiece style mount finished on both sides.

King salmon caught in Alaska. Roughly 25 pounds with lots of chrome.

Been pretty excited to get to this smallmouth. Swipe over to see the actual fish. Never seen a coloration anywhere close to this one so it was fun to try and replicate.

Nice sized chain pickerel from out east. Been a crazy couple months with work and a move but starting to get some replicas out the door.

Been busy with training at my airline, but got a couple more replicas finished recently including this nice largemouth from Maryland.

Out in Florida for pilot training and had a day off to go chase some peacocks. Had an awesome guide - Bass Whisper Guide Service - who put me on more fish than I could count with a 6.2 pounder as the biggest. I’ll definitely be doing some replicas of these soon! Unforgettable day!

This 5 pound largemouth was caught in Utah in 1996, one year after I was born lol Pretty cool that 26 years later I could do a mount of it.

Got a few bass up next starting with this Idaho smallmouth complete with a hand painted crawfish and custom base.

Another Utah Kokanee out the door. This one was surprisingly caught thru the ice which I believe is pretty rare for them to survive that long after the spawn. Made for some cool deeper tones.
