✨ Zellie’s Homecoming! ✨

Zellie, previously known as Reagan, was part of our Turnkey Adoption Program here at Covenant Keeper’s K9 Training. 🐾 Over the past 4 months, she worked hard on building her foundation through training, manners, and confidence.

Now, we are thrilled to share that she has found her forever family with the Helene family in Oregon! 🌲💙

Congratulations to Zellie and her new family — we can’t wait to see all the adventures ahead! 🐶✨

Sweet Ruby has officially made it to her forever home! 🏡❤️ We’re so excited for her and her new family as they start this journey together. Ruby, you’ve been such a joy to train and love, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do.

Bilbo has made it home and is living his best life in New York! 🏙️🐾 A huge thank you to the Salvatore family for trusting us to train and love him during his 2.5 month program. We are so proud of the dog he’s become and can’t wait to see all the adventures ahead. ❤️

🐾 Ash’s Training Update 🐾

We are one and a half weeks into Ash’s training, and he is ready to take his skills out and about! 🌟 This week, he participated in a group class — a controlled setting but still full of distractions with four other puppies present.

Ash also got the chance to work with a new handler for the very first time. Learning to focus and engage with someone new is such an important step in his journey. 👏

On top of that, we took his leash and door manners on the road, practicing in a real-world environment. Every outing is an opportunity to build confidence, strengthen skills, and help Ash learn how to succeed no matter where life takes him. 💪🐶

🇺🇸🐾 Remembering 9/11 🐾🇺🇸

Today we pause to honor the lives lost and the heroes who stepped forward on September 11, 2001. Among them were the incredible search and rescue dogs who worked tirelessly alongside first responders in the aftermath of the attacks.

These loyal canines climbed through rubble, searched tirelessly for survivors, and provided comfort to rescue workers and families during one of our nation’s darkest days. Their courage, dedication, and unwavering hearts remind us of the powerful bond between humans and dogs.

We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

🎉🐾 Everyone welcome Oliver & Cara! 🐾🎉

These two siblings have joined us for our 2-week Board & Train program!

✨ Cara – At just 6 months old, she’s still in the puppy stage with some naughty habits like chewing on furniture, shoes, and anything else she can find. She’s also not house-broke yet and has a habit of running off instead of coming back. Over the next two weeks, we’ll be working on building good manners, reliability, and recall to keep her safe.

✨ Oliver – He struggles with fear-based reactivity and tends to bark at anything that moves inside the house. For him, building confidence and calmness will be key to helping him feel more secure and less reactive.

We’re excited to help this sibling duo grow in their training journey! 💪🐶🐶

🐾 Training Tip Tuesday with Covenant Keepers K9 🐾

✨ Potty Training Made Easy
Consistency and patience are your best tools when house training your pup. Take them out often—first thing in the morning, after meals, after playtime, and before bed.

💡 Quick Tip: Reward immediately with treats and praise when they potty in the right spot. Avoid punishment—accidents are a learning opportunity, not misbehavior.

Remember, successful potty training builds trust and sets the stage for a confident, well-behaved dog. 🐶
