The pups got some valuable exposure training today! 🐾🚜
While they enjoyed playtime, they were also learning how to stay calm and confident around heavy equipment and loud machinery — an important part of building well-rounded, adaptable dogs.

While they explored, I was on the skid steer getting some yard work done, which created the perfect real-world training opportunity. Controlled, positive exposure like this helps puppies learn that:
✔️ New sounds are okay
✔️ Big moving objects don’t have to be scary
✔️ They can stay regulated even in higher-stim environments
✔️ Life skills go far beyond obedience — confidence is key!

Real-life training moments are everywhere if we take advantage of them. 🐶💛

Look at these good pups! 🐾❤️
Just hanging out in the kitchen without begging while I cook. Yes, they’re watching me… but it’s the “respectful observing” kind, not the “I’m starving, please drop the chicken” kind. 😅

PS: Ignore my messy floor — I was basically launching flour and cheese like confetti. I’m a dog trainer, not a chef! 😂🧀

So proud of these kiddos for showing off their manners in real-life moments like this. It’s the little wins that make the biggest difference!

Fox absolutely rocked his coffee shop date today! ☕🐾
We practiced settling at the table, ignoring distractions, staying neutral to people and noises, and keeping his focus even when the espresso machine got loud. He handled it all like a champ.

These real-world outings are such a huge part of his Service Dog in Training journey — building confidence, filtering out overstimulation, and learning how to stay calm and present no matter what’s happening around him. Proud of this boy and how far he’s already come! 🧡✨
