Experience Breeding.. providing outstanding boxers to your family. Our puppies receive daily interaction with adults, they are touched, held, and talked to on a daily basis. They are introduced to our children immediately. Our Children at 3 weeks, start to participate in the caring for the puppies. We use this interaction to help our babies establish good socialization skills.
We introduce our babies to a puppy food around 4 to 4 1/2 weeks old. We start the weaning process around 5 weeks old, or when mama begins to show signs that she has been bitten one too many times by razor sharp teeth!
Around 5 to 5 1/2 weeks of age, we begin taking them outside on adventure trips in the back yard. This is always an interesting time to watch them respond to new textures, smells, and sounds. Between 6 and 7 weeks of age we let them have extended time outside in the play yard. They enjoy this adventure as well. By 8 weeks of age they have been acclimated to both inside and outside textures, smells, and sounds. We believe this helps our babies be well adjusted prior to the trip to their new forever home.
Things are changing at E&J Boxers we are just settling in to our new home on 10 acres of land. Where we are looking to build kennels and runs for our boxers to enjoy. The adjustment to the rest of the animals is an interesting event but work in process. I look forward to all the animals living in harmony in and out of our home. We are also hoping to be able to hold puppy reunions and hold E&J family events in our home and on our land.
We are located in Deltona, Florida. We are a family of beautiful boxers. Sasha was whelped May 4, 2007 and was our 1st female and our first experience with breeding. Boxer Information
Boxers are not for everyone, they are high spirited and full of energy. They need a lot of room to run or an owner who has a lot of time to spend at the dog park and to keep them exercised. Boxers need a lot of attention but become the most loyal companion you will have.
Boxers are a short haired breed, which is minimal maintenance. The recognized colors are fawn and brindle with white on the underbelly and on the front or all paws. They also recognize reverse brindle which is a darker undercoat with fawn strips. The white marking are called flash and can also be seen on the collars and face. Classic fawn and Brindle, have the minimal white with a black mask.
The average weight of a male boxer is between 60 to 70 lbs and the female 55 to 65 lbs. So they will be pretty big dogs, please keep this in mind.
