We also offer hunt test handling for our clients. If you would like to see your dog perform competively against some of the best dogs out there, talk to us about our upcoming test schedule. In our opinion, this is a must if you ever intend on breeding your dog. It creates a paper trail for perspective buyers to compare to other breedings around. If two equal breedings are out there and one has titles on the parents and the other breeding does not, which one sells their pups the fastest? FAQ

We encourage you to come see your dog work, especially towards the end of your dogs stay. Appointments will need to be mutually agreed upon. Please have respect for our families and do not call on Sundays or after 9:00 p.m. Is there a waiting list for your training programs? Most of the time, yes. We can hold your spot with a small non-refundable deposit and apply it to the first month of training. What is the best age to start them in training? In our opinion, 5 months of age is the optimum time to start formal obedience. How old is to old? We never say never. However, It generally takes longer with the older dogs. What do I need to provide during my dogs stay? Heart worm & Flea / Tick Preventative. Everything else is included in our price. If you would like, we can buy and administer all necessary medicines. My dog already knows how to ____________, can he skip some of the steps and start your finished training program? The training programs listed are generally followed in sequence. If you think your dog is ahead of the game and could skip one of the programs mentioned, all prior required tasks must be demonstrated to us and mutually agreed upon. Think of it this way, you can never fill up a glass of water if there are holes in the glass. The same goes for retriever training. You can't expect them to do hand signals if they will not sit and look at you. this is only one scenario, I can think of many more.
