Atlanta playing dead AGAIN!!! Lol She's hilarious 😂 so of course my niece gives her a belly rub and she's in heaven! She's the same size as Biloxi and a little taller now likw her daddy at 11 months!

For anyone that got a puppy from us....
Be sure they have enough water available!

We have a doggy water dispenser outside on the faucet and I turn on the faucet to let it run several times a day (bc they play in it while drinking) and we have a pond (they get in it sometimes) ... but we just realized that Colorado (dad of y'all pups) steal needed more water.

We knew he drank about 3 times as much as Biloxi (mom) but just assumed he would get it from the water dispenser when he wanted some... unfortunately, this morning he has shown signs of dehydration,

so trying to help that situation....we have now added an additional
Room Temp/COOL water bowl by the door when they are playing outside!!

If it was Biloxi, that would make since, she barely drinks water, but for Colorado, this is very surprising!!

I'm not sure if y'all pup is more like Dad or maybe like Mom, but please keep an eye out, they may need more water than the adverage dog like Colorado does!

Looks like something we need to try!

Cheddar Bacon Dog Biscuits

1 1/2 cups of white flour
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
1 large egg
2 tablespoons of softened butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
1 large apple peeled and grated (no seeds)
2 tablespoons of dried parsley
3 tablespoons of REAL bacon bits
1 cup of milk

Directions:
Place the egg, butter and olive oil into A MIXING bowl and MIX together…add the milk and mix a bit more…now add the flours…slowly…then add the grated apple…cheese…parsley and bacon bits

Your dough should be nice ,smooth
and pliable and ready to roll.
If too dry add a little water or milk and if it is too moist add a little more flour:)

Sprinkle some flour on your counter so the dough does not stick and roll out half of your dough and cut into shapes or use cookie cutters - Place them on a lightly coated baking sheet or use parchment to line cookie sheet - place in a pre-heated 375 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. (oven temp vary)

When they are golden on top and browned on the bottom they are done.
(cook longer for crunchy bones less time for soft)
Store in an air tight container in the fridge they will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks or six months in the freezer

Be careful!! These dog food suppliers are getting ridiculous!! We started making our own food last week (I'll post more info on that soon) - it's not the best recipe, but its what we can afford for now, the recipe will get better the more money we have to spend on our pups!! However at this point with so many recalls over past year or two, anything is better than the everyday brands from the local/convenient stores!! Geez.... these companies get so large, take over and monopolize the industry and then continually drop the ball. It's sad!

Pedigree dog food sold at Walmart stores in multiple states has been recalled over the potential presence of a dangerous, unintended ingredient.

That's so sweet!
Colorado likes to play with the neighbors dog by running a path down the fence line and barking the whole time! They play chase! Lol Colorado runs out of energy a lot faster than the neighbor does! It's so funny! He'll start only going half way and waiting for him to return!!

I get up, they must look, they must know what I'm doing, after seeing I'm just standing to take a picture and not actually walking away... lol... they both lay their heads back down!

It's so neat to watch Atlanta grow after raising her parents. She is truly 50/50, and every day, there's something new we notice!!

Sometimes annoying things, like playing dead every time you tell her to do anything, lol, but mostly cute, sweet personality traits that are like one of her parents!
