Prevention Tips:
Keep dangerous items out of reach of pets (e.g., chocolate, nuts, and cleaning supplies). Know your plants and avoid having toxic ones in your home or garden.
Store medications properly, especially over-the-counter ones that may seem harmless. Be cautious with foods that are toxic to pets, especially when hosting gatherings. If you suspect your pet has ingested something toxic:
