10 month old Rebel is available as a started hunting dog ready for duck season.

Rebel is very well bred, out of FC AFC Flawless Ex*****on x Kaizens Put Your Red Light On MH MNH. Rebel will make someone an outstanding hunting or hunt test dog.

Rebel has been through obedience, E-collar conditioning, and force fetch. Steady, and marking through decoys land and water out to 100 yards. We will finish steadying him and start casting/pile

70 lbs. Raised in and out of the house. Very social, clean and quiet, great around kids, strangers, and other dogs. Very manageable drive with a good off switch and plenty of go.

This dog is NOT a washout. I will be VERY picky where he goes. Ideally we would like to find someone that would continue him in training after hunting season. Pedigree in the comments.

Rankin Brook’s Walkin the Line MH** “Cash”

Huge congratulations to owner Davin Marceau and trainer/handler Ryan Middaugh passing a tough Master National this week in Paducah, Kentucky…running clean through all five series!!!

Cash is a product of one of our FC Bud x Henley MH litters.

We have been fortunate to stay in touch with Davin over the years and were able to follow Cash when he summered here in Maine with Chris Payne. From running against him in derbies, training, and checking in with Chris at hunt tests, it has been a journey I’ve been proud to be a part of as a friend and a breeder. Wish Chris was still here to be a part of it.

It takes a team to build dogs of this caliber. As a breeder, I give a sincere thank you to all involved…. especially with the Marceau family for making the commitment to take Cash all the way!

Rankin Brooks Seaside Estuary MH “River”

River passed her sixth consecutive master test this weekend at the Yankee Waterfowl Hunting Retriever Club’s test in Woodstock, Connecticut to earn her Master Hunter Title. River proved herself as a young two year old in some very challenging tests in a short eight week stretch this summer. She is hands down one of the most consistent and talented animals I have ever worked with.

Our Master dogs showed up this weekend for a very challenging test at the Penobscot Hunting Retriever Club hunt test in Pittsfield Maine. Huge thank you to the club members, judges, and the workers, specifically the Madison wrestling team for working the event making this weekends test possible.

We had an excellent weekend at the Maine Retriever Trial Club double Master hunt test this past weekend in Dixmont, Maine. Huge thank you to the club, workers, judges and the landowners Julie Brown and Dr. Pyne for the use of their property.

We had 7/8 master passes with our dogs. With two new Master Hunter Titles. This was a pretty special accomplishment titling two littermates at the same test out on one of our litters.

Two of our dogs doing big things! Congrats Tim and Dustin!

Please join us in congratulating our newly certified Texas Game Warden K9 Teams, K9 Roux and Game Warden Tim Tokash and K9 Piper & Game Warden Dustin Fleming. Both teams completed an 8-week training course and are now certified in police search and rescue, which consists of tracking, off-lead open area searches, and evidence article recovery. Along with their new certifications, K9 Roux is also certified in human remains detection and K9 Piper is certified in narcotics detection. K9 Roux and K9 Piper are available for Game Wardens, federal, state, county, and local law enforcement agencies. On behalf of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, we would like to thank the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation and our communities for their continued support of our Game Warden K9 Team!

We teamed up with Chad and Maggie Martin and put on a mid-week master test yesterday In Dixmont, Maine. Thank you Peggy Sage Knowles and the Maine Retriever Trial Club for sponsoring this event. Thank you Dr. John Pyne for the use of your property, and HUGE thank you to all of workers that helped the event run smoothly.
