Hi everyone,
We didn’t want to ever have to do this because we like to keep our gear affordable. But due to people doing this after we already done ALL the work on the gear, as of today, BEFG has a NO REFUND POLICY. Once an order has been placed, we cannot issue a refund. We get supplies for your order and put a lot of time and work into each piece of gear we make. It’s only fair that we are paid for it and are not having someone ask for a refund after we have already made the whole set.

Hi Blue Eyed Fox Family. I just wanted to stop in and give y’all a little update. First, sorry I’ve been so absent with posting. There’s still work going on behind the scenes (don’t you worry!), but life has been getting in the way and posting has fallen to the wayside. My fianceé fell while walking our dogs the other day, and is now scheduled for surgery (and a lengthy recovery following) next week due to the damage resulting from the fall. And I’ve just been having a rough go of it with my mental health. My symptoms have been flaring, so my doc has been changing up some meds which have left me like a zombie… we’re hoping to get that sorted out soon. At least the med part. The flaring of symptoms I’m just taking one day at a time. But it is slowly getting a little better. (Let’s hope it keeps going in that direction). Orders have been continued to be worked on through everything, all be it at a slower pace this last month. So I’m just running slightly behind. I’m hoping, once I’m off the zombie inducing med, I’ll be able to pick up my usual pace again. (Fingers crossed). But yes. I just wanted to give y’all a heads up. Oh! And don’t forget we have the order tracker linked in our bio. I try to update it whenever something changes/new happens with an order, but do forgive me if it hasn’t changed in a while…. I do get horrible brain fog at times lol As always. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this time.

Hey y’all. It is with a heavy heart that we make this post. My partner’s retired Service Dog, Jemma Nikohl, the “queen of the house”, has crossed the rainbow bridge 😢. Our hearts are broken, but we did what was best for her. I still can’t believe she’s gone. It’s all still surreal, and I’m expecting the see her when I look up when I’m done typing this… but that won’t happen 😔She is now running free across the bridge, free of pain. But it still hurts. We may be slow to respond to messages for the next few days as we take time to grieve. Thank you all for bearing with us. We appreciate you and your patience, as always, during this difficult time. 🐾 🦊 💙

Sooo, we did a thing with one of our own cooling vests. (When your bestie asks… your bestie gets. Yes. She does have a task trained SD). For being my first embroidery on an already made item… I’d say it’s not too shabby! (Patch was made and then “waterproofed”, then sewn on). But yeah. Love how this turned out 😀 Again. We DO NOT offer these services at this time. Just wanted to share something we did that we’re proud of 🙂

Edit to add: we were asked so: Cooling vest has been tested to see if functionality and cooling capabilities were altered due to alterations to the vest. It’s almost 100 degrees today and we used it and it stayed wet and kept the dog cool and fur moist. Altering the vest did not in any way effect the cooling capability or functionality of the vest

Here’s the rest of the cheese/sunflower patches! (They got cut off because I apparently am totally sucking at taking pics for instagram lol). The orange guy is a non Velcro patch (with vinyl backing) and clips to clip to a harness. The customer had the awesome idea and I got to bring it to life! I just haven’t figured out what to call it yet lol.

Sooooo…. You know how it’s a super bummer to want to know the status of your order…. But not be able to get an answer right away? I think I have fixed (hopefully!) that problem. I am by no means an expert with excel… but I have created an order “tracker” linked in my bio. Fingers crossed I did everything right! I was not a star pupil when they thought spreadsheets in middle school lol. So here’s our test run! I’ll try to update it every week (or as I get a bunch of changes at once, whichever happens first). Sooooo let’s see how this goes! Ready… set… go, go gadget order tracker!

Today marks 4 years since our 1st sale EVER! I can’t believe it’s already been this long. There’s definitely been a learning curve through everything we’ve done… but that’s part of the fun of gear making! We’ve loved working with all of you. Your creativity and gear ideas have all been so awesome :) Thank you for giving us a chance to do what we love. I couldn’t have done this whole thing without my partner in crime, Jenna. Thank you for being my rock and supporting me in everything. And of course to the dogs who started it all. Especially to the Blue Eyed Fox herself. So we got 2 flat tires in the course of 2.5 weeks. (Which slowed down our ability to ship. If you’ve heard stories about our post guy, you’ve heard he doesn’t pick up any scheduled packages… so that option was out). The good news? They are now both fixed, and we have packages going out again! Who’s going out? Ahem: H.Holley, C. Kline, G. Stompkin, S. Beyers. L. Gerhard (part 2), R. Anderson. P. Savok (within the next week :) ). On deck: R.Schaffer, R. Mulhern, K.Dykes, E. Graham, T. White, H. Kamm, (I’m going off the top of my head so I feel like I’m missing someone). Just wanted to give y’all a quick update! Let’s hope Murphy’s law stays… over there! Lol Between machine issues, car issues, and then getting sick it’s running us over! (Excuse the pun lol).

Welp… I spoke too soon -.- My machine is once again angry and I am once again expletiving. (That is now a word). It has decided (again) that thread is the most delicious thing in the world! I need it to stop having the munchies… (the patch pic is after parts were burned down… the thread nesting was much higher). Let’s see what fixes we can come up with this time. Oh great and powerful embroidery Gods, heal the munchies of this machine and get its butt back on track to doing work! (I’m hoping it’s a simple fix that I’m about to try over the next hour. Until then though, I shall remain frustrated and throwing expletives at it because FRUSTRATION! Stop eating my thread, you naughty machine! It’s my thread!

This may sound small and insignificant to some… but it made me happy. This tiny little shop has grown so much since we first opened in 2019. We’ve had our ups and downs. Our good times and bad. But we’ve learned so much through everything. It’s been amazing meeting all of you through this journey. Whether it be interacting through a post, coming to us as a customer, or just liking our page; we appreciate all of you so much.

On the day Blue Eyed Fox Gear was started, I never thought it would grow to what it is. We’re not huge… by FAR. We know there are others out there bigger and more popular than us (and we love watching them work and grow too! It’s so fascinating!).

But 1,000 followers is a milestone (to me at least). This isn’t about being well known. This isnt about being the biggest brand. This is about helping people by doing something you love.

You all helped make this possible… and I can’t thank you enough.

Happy Pride!!!! Enjoy a mock-up of a happy little (or in this case, big) Pride heart! So… I think I may have forgot to post it here too (I posted it on the page! 1/2 counts, right? So over the course of a month I’ve gotten sick (yet again) with another awful sinus infection that (as of now) has gone pretty much away. *As it laughs in the background screaming “I’ll be backkkkk” in its best Arnold voice. Annnnnnd my lovely… LOVELY embroidery machine decided it no longer wanted to embroider the right way, and was thus embroidering things backwards for almost two weeks. (Aka: eating thread… shredding thread, bobbin on the top, sucking in the top thread… you name it… it probably did it. It destroyed many projects as it got the munchies for thread and vinyl (which you know… if it eats the product… I can’t give y’all anything!). So with a lotttt of tweaking, a lottttt of YouTube videos, some help from my awesome embroidery groups! (Hey STFA! I’m talk bout you!). And so much cussing, Gordon Ramsey would blush… or maybe he’d be so proud he’d cry…(idk) I THINK IVE FINALLY FIXED IT! It has stopped sewing backwards. It’s not eating projects. And it’s being nice to me again. So YAY! *Insert Cory Matthews Happy Face here*(I hope you know who Cory Matthews is). Anyways. That’s been my life. Lol. Just another “Murphy’s Law” kinda happening. Well. I hope y’all are enjoying your Summer so far! Here’s to getting back in the saddle! *Climbs up on fluffy unicorn. “Hi ho, Silver. Away!”

Hey y’all! So I just wanted to give a little heads up, in case I’m slow to answer messages. I’ve come down with the sick again XP, but I’m hoping I caught it sooner than I did last time, so it won’t be too bad. (Still feel blegh though lol). I’m already on antibiotics, so I’m hoping it goes away fast! Fingers crossed.

Also, my message app has been acting up like crazy lately. It will un-highlight and eat messages so I don’t see them. So if I don’t answer for a bit… blame the messaging monster! It most likely ate your message. I’m not ignoring you I promise!

Update! 🦊 🤒

So I’m almost out of the sick woods. (I hope. Jenna’s just come down with the worst of it now). I still have a nasty cough, and some congestion… but my energy FINALLY has come back at least part way. I legit have been wiped for the last week and half (if not longer… I barely know what day it is lol).

I’m hopping back on the machines, trying to catch up as best I can. Still slow going because I’m not at full Caitie speed yet… but getting there! (And yes. Everything will be sanitized/is being sanitized so y’all don’t catch the sick. Yay microban!).

I’m currently running some past due vests on the embroidery machine and trying to get them sewn up, and will then focus on the patch orders that were scheduled to go out when the sick tornado hit. Fingers crossed we can get back on track quickly!

Hey Y’all!

So just a heads up. I’m down with some sort of (I’m thinking) sinus infection right now, that’s kicking my butt. If I’m slow to respond to messages I apologize. Blame the sick!

But yeah. Right now, I feel like death, trying to get some antibiotics ordered to hopefully get rid of this thing. I’m still working on mock-ups, and on days I feel better I’m working on orders and sanitizing everything.

I apologize for the slow go of things, and like always, appreciate y’all and your patience and understanding :) I’m hoping this is the tail end of things. So I’m hoping it will be over soon. Fingers crossed!
