I’m going to go on a little soap box. We were killing time after heading to get passports & orthodontist appts. We spotted a new “Pet Store” that just opened up locally.
I was genuinely curious if it had changed in anyway from previous stores around the metroplex. The policies are the same.
You get dogs shipped in from “USDA” Breeders around the US. They sell you a puppy package for no less that $4500 and financing! 🤦♀️
Support locally bred dogs, by families who do dna testing, OFA testing, raise them with a puppy curriculum, socializing them, vaccinations, deworming, not puppy mills. With intentional breeding practices. Not over population for hefty price tags.
You have no idea of the conditions these dogs grew up in & neither does the company selling them.
We raise our puppies in our home, parents are on property, we have 24 hour surveillance of our dogs, they have heated and air conditioned facilities. Quality vet care from our local veterinarian. We don’t breed every cycle if the market is saturated. We do intentional breeding. Preferably with a waitlist.
It breaks my heart this is still allowed. I had to love on these babies though. It’s not their fault.

I have Dax here looking for his forever home! He is a sweet boy!
He is a Medium Multigen Goldendoodle. He will be 40-50 pounds full grown. He has had his first round of shots, vet checked, has been doing fabulous potty training.
He enjoys being around other dogs, he has a playful energy, but can chill and relax too.
He would make a great addition!
