Come join us for a Molly Wisecarver 3 day Clinic followed by a 2 day AHBA Trial at Maple Grove Farm!

A bit about Molly:
The herding bug bit me in 1990 after getting my first dog, an Australian Shepherd. After a few years of competing in ASCA (and loving it), I decided I wanted to compete in other venues. In 1993, I purchased my first Border Collie and that is when I fell in love with field work.
Since then I have competed in all venues: AKC, AHBA, ASCA, and USBCHA including a few other cattle venues. I now own several different breeds and love them all for different reasons (Aussies, BC’s, CWC, GSD, Kelpie). I have attended multiple breed nationals including the Belgian Tervuren , PWC, Aussie, CWC, and BC.
My accomplishments include multiple High and Reserve high in trial wins, multiple ASCA finals with placements, and competing in USBCHA trials such as Soldier Hollow and Meeker where I was awarded the good sportsmanship award.
I promote self-handling and love to teach the art of herding. I love teaching trial strategy and helping individuals troubleshoot their problem areas. I love nothing more than to see people succeed in the sport. Along with several students handling their own dogs to great success, I have also trained multiple trainers that now teach themselves.

Possibly looking for Anatolian Shepherds (pure bred puppies) as livestock guardian dogs . Farm raised with sheep with parents that guard sheep. Suggest breeders . Thank you!

Now that we are headed into the fall months and many successful clinics and trials have passed, it is time for an updated events calendar! I have cleaned it up and taken out the clinics and trials from earlier this year so it is easier to see what is left in the coming months. Keep an eye out for the 2024 events calendar soon!

This clinic’s focus is on proper stockmanship and trial etiquette. Perfect for anyone looking to fine tune their skills as a good stockman and make the most of their trialing experiences.

Start time 7:30am, first handler's meeting 7:00am. AM/PM trials each day. Two judges: Jane Bradley and Vivian Kay Delk Keziah.

Ranch Large Flock sheep…exciting duck courses…special ribbons and awards!

Courses: RLF sheep, HTAD Course 2 with runner ducks, and not one but TWO HTAD Course 5s with call ducks.

All fun, unique courses designed to showcase your dog's abilities!
