Both parents are very quiet and do not bark. They are both very social and not shy nor aggressive. Both are great in a pack. Both easily potty trained as puppies. This is an incredibly stable line of mini poodles.

Puppies are available to breeders who cross or do pure poodles. This line is very good for cross breeding. You’ll get great quality coats and stable outgoing temperaments.

Cavapoo kids are 6 weeks old. They still nurse, but are enjoying some mushy food. They really like eggs and chicken with broth. Beef and liver are not their favorites. Sardines are tempting if I warm it with chicken broth. These are fatty chunky healthy puppies. 🩷💚🩷

Cavapoo kids are learning how to be potty trained. We put the pups on alfalfa pellets in their litter box to learn how to potty on the correct surface. They are 2.5 weeks old and just barely walking. It is very important we start early so your puppy is properly conditioned to potty on the correct surface.

Feeding your dog fresh/raw is cheap.

For a 30 lbs dog who is active, one meal a day of raw, equals 1-1.5 lbs of fresh food. That is the total daily need of an adult, one meal of about 1-1.5 lbs of food, depending on the activity & metabolism of that dog.

I order Dr Harvey’s https://amzn.to/3KZm5JA & the no-salt added Sardines https://amzn.to/3yuWpSr on Amazon. I buy everything else at Winco or one of my local ethnic grocery stores. At Winco, ground beef is $2/lbs.

To cover a wide variety of nutritional needs and to take the guess work out, I highly suggest you buy Dr Harvey’s Raw Vibrance. This covers everything but protein/fat/oil.

In Dr Harvey’s guideline it suggests feeding 3oz of dry mix, soaked in hot water. This is fine to do, but it’s over kill on volume. I’m feeding a 30 lbs adult 1 oz dry, not 3 oz. Once water is added it expands a lot.

For the rest of the meal:
2-4 oz of liver
2-4 oz of heart/gizzards
2 oz of cottage cheese
1 egg
1/2-3/4 lbs of ground beef
2 peices of canned sardines

The total cost for this meal is about:
$1 Dr Harvey’s
$1 liver/gizzards
$0.50 cottage cheese
$0.25 egg
$1-$1.5 ground beef
$0.50 sardines
Total = $5
Monthly food bill = $150

💚Avoiding health problems & vet bills by NOT feeding dry dog food = priceless💚

To reduce costs more, I feed only chicken about 3 days a week, raw/not cooked chicken legs WITH the bone in it. A 30 lbs dog gets 2 legs. It is $0.80/lbs for chicken legs at La Michoacána Grocery. I suggest buying your meat at one of your local Mexican or Asian groceries.

On the 3 days a week I feed chicken, I feed only liver & gizzards & chicken (with bone), I reduce the cost per dog to under $2 per 30 lbs dog on these days.

So my real cost is $105 per month for a 30 lbs dog.

For my 60 lbs dogs, I increase the meat volume to add up to a total of 2 lbs/day total. So one of my Goldens get 3-4 chicken legs on chicken day. And about 1-1.5 lbs of beef on the mix day. And about 2 dry Oz of Dr Harvey’s. It’s really not much more cost than feeding a 30 lbs dog.

My golden retriever older puppies (4 months old) eat as much as the adults. I split it up to 2 meals a day. Once they are done growing, I move them to 1 meal a day. For tiny puppies I do 4 meals a day.

I suggest feeding adults their meal when it’s bed time or take a long nap after. They need to relax after this large meal. No running or activity for a few hours after their meal is best. In the summer I feed at lunch since they are inside the AC all day relaxing after morning play. In the winter I feed at dinner after spending daytime hours outside.
