We'll never get tired of talking about our famous smoked chicken feet!

It's literally one of the best, most natural sources of glucosamine and chondroitin that we can give our dogs. What do glucosamine and chondroitin do? It's a natural compound found in cartilage - what the chicken foot is made of entirely! - that helps support hips and joins. This is particularly helpful for senior dogs, larger breeds, and puppies. Because Susie's Snacks does a "wet" smoke on our proteins, dogs of all ages are able to have this treat!!

Dogs crave meat, so this is an AMAZING way to support their health from the inside. Plus, anything that comes off a pit is going to taste GOOD! Trust us, your dogs can smell the difference, and they know that they want a chicken foot or 12.

Washup Wednesday 🧼🧼🧼How to have a clean dog! Come to our storefront in Denton!!

Do you hate washing your dog at home? But also don't need a full wash and groom? That's where we come in!

Our DIY Dog Wash is the easy, affordable way to wash your dog. This way, you get to keep your house dry and clean and get our bathing area dirty!

The bathing area is open every business day, and you don't need to make an appointment. Typically, you'll have the space entirely to yourself, so there's no need to worry about interactions with other dogs. If you do have an anxious or reactive dog, and you want us to put up our Reactive Dog Shopping sign, just let us know, and we're happy to accommodate!!

🌈Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day🌈 bittersweet memories 🌈

Susie, on the left, is who we named this company after. Her brother Leon is the reason behind our famous smoked chicken feet. Not a day goes by that these dogs aren't remembered. I know they are living the most pawsome life on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

I didn't get a chance to post this yesterday, but Pippin is gonna try a sample from Super Zoo from 🙌🏼It's grooming day, and he's a nervous guy!

Now, don't get too excited. We don't carry these at our Storefront in Denton currently. But it IS a great brand that we highly recommend if you're in the market from a cbd bite for your dogs for grooming day, travel, holidays, etc. .rose.portillo had some of these while we were in Vegas at the show because she was very overstimulated and needed a calming bite or two.

Get 'em while you can! The bacon mozzarella bug-away bites are a summer specialty, only around for a limited time!

They're made with a special (and secret) blend of herbs and spices that help keep anything that bites away - fleas, ticks, mosquitos. They're not a replacement for your usual bug protectant that you use, but it's another layer to help keep the bugs away. This time of year, we can use all the help we can get!

It's all Do It Yourself, come get our shower dirty and keep yours clean ✨️

🧼 We provide soap, towels, and dryers
🧼 No appointment is needed
🧼 3 height and size stations to accommodate different size dogs

It's usually very quiet, so if you have a reactive dog, rest assured that you'll have the space to yourselves! Just let us know when you check in that you have a reactive dog so we can keep other dogs out of the area 🫶🏽

We're still reflecting back on the fun (and exhausting!) week last week in Vegas! It's incredible to be surrounded by small and big businesses and to hear their stories of starting up and finding the courage to go on. Not gonna lie, it's been a YEAR so far, so having these partnerships to turn to is a huge comfort and confidence boost that we're still doing OK.

Christina took a million photos, so those will probably still trickle out for a while.

We've got a few fun events coming up to close out the summer and transition into fall 🎃 but for now, the Susie's team is still living our best ☀️Hot Pup Summer☀️

Saturday Spotlight 🔦 you know I have to talk about bug protection since it's the weekend, and you might be taking the dogs out for some Saturday and Sunday fundays. The bugs are OUT in full force this summer, so a little additional bug protection for the furry family members will go a long way to keep them safe and healthy! We have sprays and wipes, both great for home and travel.
